  • Carrie, Dispatcher II with Johnson County Emergency Communications Center, shares what you need to know when you dial 911. 📱 "I want you to remember, always stay calm. Dispatchers are always going to ask you questions, so we can get the facts of what happened, where you are and how we can help you. In case you didn't know, we are trained to provide life-saving care. We'll do CPR with you, we can help deliver a baby, we can control bleeding and any number of other things that we can help you do while help is headed toward you. So just stay calm, we're here to help!" When an emergency strikes, the voice on the other end of the line is your first link to help. 🚑
