Today, Jupiter Power announced it has closed a $500 million Senior Secured Green Revolving Loan and Letter of Credit Facility, upsizing the company’s existing $225 million facility originally closed in September 2024. The Facility provides flexible capital available for borrowings or the issuance of letters of credit to support the rapid advancement of Jupiter’s project pipeline across the United States. Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Bank USA, ING Capital LLC, National Association, Societe Generale and SMBC Group acted as Coordinating Lead Arrangers. HSBC Bank USA, National Association also served as Administrative Agent and Collateral Agent. “This upsizing represents another big step in Jupiter Power’s growth and underscores the confidence our banking partners have in our ability to continue delivering high-quality BESS projects with long-term contracted cash flows,” said Jesse Campbell, the company’s Chief Financial Officer. “This additional liquidity launches us into our post-OBBBA growth phase, supporting not just the major new domestic BESS procurement recently closed but also numerous projects proceeding into construction and major advancement of our development pipeline.” Jupiter Power currently has nearly 8,000 MWh of battery energy storage projects operating, under construction or under contract, with a development pipeline exceeding 12 GW nationwide. Today, Jupiter Power announced executive leadership changes designed to align the company’s management structure with its next phase of growth. Audrey (Fogarty) Griffin, a founding principal of Jupiter Power and the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2019, has decided to step down from her role. “It has been thrilling to be a part of the Jupiter Power journey since the start of the company to now a platform of nearly 8 GWh of projects operating, in construction or under contract. I am immensely proud of what this team has achieved, pioneering an industry-leading storage operations platform singularly focused on maximizing value alongside real-world technical intricacies of a storage asset portfolio,” said Ms. Griffin. She will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity. Jack Godshall has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer, previously leading Jupiter Power’s development and origination teams as Chief Commercial Officer since the company’s founding. “Jupiter has a well-earned reputation for excellence in project development and execution, as evident by our increasingly diverse commercial offtake partners,” said Mr. Godshall, “I am excited to continue to guide Jupiter Power as a leader in energy storage in this time of great load growth and increased need for power.” Laura Peter Wellborn, who joined Jupiter Power in 2020, will join the senior management team as Chief Revenue Officer and will manage the workstreams previously overseen by Ms. Griffin. Under Ms. Wellborn, Jupiter Power’s market operations team has grown to include dispatch and scheduling for a portfolio of nearly 2,400 MWh operational energy storage projects, as well as the development and operations of an in-house Qualified Scheduling Entity. It’s been a busy week in Austin as American Clean Power Association (ACP) hosted back-to-back conferences focused on energy storage and grid performance — and Jupiter Power was proud to have leaders participate in both. At the RECHARGE Energy Storage Summit, Vice President of Policy & Corporate Communications Caitlin Smith joined Charlie Hemmeline, Tyler Cline and Rishad Olpadwala for a panel on “The #ERCOT Outlook: A Developer’s View on the Market in Texas.” The group discussed how storage developers are navigating ERCOT’s evolving market as Texas experiences record demand growth, and how policy and regulation will continue to shape the state’s reliability landscape. At ACP PEAK: Performance, Modeling & Assessment Conference, Jenny Brown, Vice President of Market Analytics, spoke on “Storage Market Evaluation & Revenue Forecasting” alongside Gaurav Sen, Matthew Haley and Kasim Khan. The panel explored how market design, interconnection dynamics and nodal modeling inform siting decisions and operational strategies for storage projects across competitive markets. Thanks to ACP for convening these thoughtful discussions and to all the panelists who continue driving forward the conversation on energy storage’s critical role in building a stronger, more reliable grid. #ACPRECHARGE25 #ACPPEAK25

⚡️Austin Energy signs largest battery storage deal in 130-year history.⚡️ 🔋 Battery storage plays a critical role in improving reliability by capturing electricity during periods of low demand and delivering it back to the grid when it is needed most. That's why Austin Energy and Jupiter Power have agreed to a large-scale battery storage contract to provide up to 100 megawatts of electricity from a utility-scale battery storage facility. This initiative supports Austin Energy’s goal of achieving 125 megawatts of battery storage by the end of 2027. This flexibility helps balance the integration of renewable energy sources, reduces reliance on fossil fuels and improves overall system resilience during extreme weather events. ➡️ Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gwFGYPvC Photo: One of Jupiter Power's operational battery energy storage systems in Houston, Texas.

Jupiter Power is honored that the Tibbits Energy Storage Facility was recognized as Project of the Year at Michigan EIBC's 13th Annual Energy Innovators Gala in Detroit. As Michigan’s first operational utility-scale battery energy storage system, the 100 MW Tibbits project represents years of collaboration and commitment. This milestone was made possible through the leadership of Michigan lawmakers, the vision of utilities like Consumers Energy, the hard work of Michigan’s skilled union workforce, and the support of local partners in Coldwater Township. With additional projects underway in Michigan, Jupiter Power is proud to continue contributing to the state’s clean energy future. Thank you to Michigan EIBC for this recognition, and to all of our partners who made this achievement possible.
