In the age of AI, leaders' number one focus is no longer about the technology – it's about enabling the workforce to use it. KPMG’s Q1 AI Pulse Survey found that 87% of leaders are prioritizing the upskilling and reskilling of their existing workforce as AI continues to grow more sophisticated and agents are deployed at scale. This trend is also redefining what makes a great hire. For entry-level roles, leaders now value adaptability and continuous learning (64%) more than technical programming skills (55%). The future belongs to a curious and agile workforce. Explore the full findings from our Q1 report to learn more: https://ow.ly/bjBX50Z2klS

True AI impact isn't just about adding new tools—it's about fundamentally rewiring how work gets done. As announced in today's joint KPMG and Anthropic press release, we have formed a first-of-its-kind alliance. We aren't just bolting on a chatbot. 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 embeds Anthropic’s frontier AI directly into the global platform our teams and clients use to deliver work every single day. This is a major operational shift that enables our people to design and run true AI‑enabled workflows, scaling our impact and capabilities. What this means for the market: 🔹 𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: We will bring Claude capabilities to Digital Gateway, where clients are already experiencing our leading tax solutions, but we are also migrating Advisory solutions onto Digital Gateway. This effort will scale the impact of the Digital Gateway experience across our clients, putting more transformative solutions at their fingertips. 🔹𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬: As a preferred consultant, we're building on the momentum of KPMG Private to help PE firms and their portfolio companies deploy transformative AI. We’ve long said that to drive real value, AI must be built into the foundation of our processes, operations, and ways of working. This alliance signals exactly how we are fundamentally transforming both KPMG and the clients we serve. Rema Serafi, Vice Chair, Tax opened the conversation with a personal story about AI during our KPMG US Tax Summit before announcing what comes next – an exclusive global alliance with Anthropic and the launch of Digital Gateway Powered by Claude.
I opened today's KPMG US Tax Summit by sharing something personal with 400+ tax clients: even with access to the best tools and the best talent, I wasn't seeing the impact I expected from AI in my own work. Too much time was being lost switching between systems. Instead of helping, the tech was slowing things down. If that was true for me, I knew a lot of tax leaders were feeling the same. So we decided to fix it. We’re launching Digital Gateway Powered by Claude. Through our exclusive global alliance with Anthropic, Claude will be built into the platform where our tax professionals and clients already work together. You could feel the shift in the room. The question isn’t whether AI can help anymore, but who can actually deliver. Grateful to Michael Hartman from Anthropic for joining me on stage to talk through what this really means - how we got here, and where we're going next. This shift is happening now. And we're leading it.

I’m proud to share a global and first‑of‑its‑kind alliance with Anthropic — and a question it answers: What happens when AI isn’t something you open on the side… but something built directly into the platform where work actually happens? Working alongside Daniela Amodei and the Anthropic team, we’re bringing Claude into KPMG Digital Gateway — putting our insights, client data, and AI capabilities into one environment where our teams and clients already work. For our people and our clients, it means we can all build, innovate, and analyze challenges and opportunities with more confidence, spending more time applying judgment to drive better business outcomes. I share more on what this enables — and why it changes how we deliver work — in the article.

Work is changing—and at KPMG, it’s happening inside the platforms where judgment, accountability, and outcomes matter most. Today, KPMG and Anthropic announced KPMG Digital Gateway Powered by Claude, bringing Anthropic’s frontier AI directly into the platform where our people and clients work. By embedding Claude into Digital Gateway, teams can build and run agentic workflows to accelerate complex regulatory work, strengthen analysis, and move faster from insight to action. The alliance launches with an initial focus on tax and private equity, including expanding Claude into KPMG’s PE offerings and codeveloping new AI-powered solutions for portfolio companies. This isn’t AI alongside the work—it’s AI built into how work gets done, with quality, control, and trust designed in from the start.
