Christmas cheer filled Lowry Hills this week! Our residents enjoyed a festive celebration with prizes, delicious Olive Garden, and plenty of smiles. During group programs, everyone also had fun creating their own Christmas stockings each one as special as the person who made it. We’re so grateful for these moments of joy and togetherness.

We were blessed with a special visit from the Lowry Hills Christmas Carolers last night! The children filled our community with beautiful songs, smiles, and holiday cheer. They even brought homemade snacks and sweet angel keepsakes they made for everyone. We sang together, laughed together, and truly felt the spirit of Christmas. It was a wonderful night that warmed our hearts and reminded us of the joy of the season.

Melanie’s Journey to Strength and Joy at Lowry Hills Earlier this year, Melanie came to Lowry Hills Care Center with a big goal: to regain her strength both physically and cognitively through physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language pathology (SLP). From day one, Melanie embraced every challenge with determination and a smile, quickly becoming our Rehab Superstar. Her progress has been nothing short of inspiring. When she first arrived, Melanie could complete only 3 sit-to-stands in 30 seconds. Today, she proudly performs 12 sit-to-stands in the same time, dramatically reducing her fall risk and boosting her confidence. This achievement reflects her hard work and commitment to improving her mobility and independence. But Melanie’s success isn’t just measured in numbers it shines in her spirit. She brings energy and joy to our dance and game groups, playing with competitive enthusiasm and encouraging others along the way. Her passion for winning and having fun reminds us of all that recovery is not just about strength it’s about living life fully. Melanie continues to inspire our entire team with her resilience, positivity, and determination. We are so proud of her incredible progress and honored to be part of her journey. Way to go, Melanie you truly are a Rehab Superstar!

Supporting Future Healthcare Professionals! Lowry Hills proudly hosted Amber W., a student from DeVry University, for an 8-week learning experience with our Medical Records Manager, Daisy D. Amber’s time with us was filled with hands-on learning, collaboration, and insight into the important role medical records play in providing quality patient care. A special thank you to Daisy for mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals and to Amber for bringing such enthusiasm to our team!
