Deposit growth and new customer acquisition remain two of the top concerns for bank executives this year. At the same time, Chime is capturing the largest share of new checking accounts, the second-largest share of savings accounts, and leading in customers who actively compare multiple providers before choosing. So how do community banks compete in this environment? In the latest ProSight Financial Association Executive Report, MeridianLink Chief Customer Officer Denise Cox highlights two themes we’re seeing across leading financial institutions. We love seeing our VP of Data, Christopher Eldredge, participating in events like this and contributing to important conversations around the future of enterprise data and AI. #DataStrategy #AIinLending #CommunityBanking
As enterprises accelerate toward agentic AI, the challenge is no longer just building smarter models — it is building the infrastructure to govern them. 💯 That challenge took center stage at CDO Magazine’s Cincinnati Roundtable Exchange, where senior data, analytics, and AI executives gathered May 6 at the Vista at Lytle Park to unpack what enterprise readiness truly means in the age of autonomous systems. 🎤 With the theme, “Ensuring Data Infrastructure is Ready for Agentic AI,” leaders exchanged perspectives at their tables on the emerging operational realities of AI agents: non-human identities accessing enterprise data, unpredictable workloads straining cloud economics, and the growing need for policy-driven governance. Special thanks to Cyera, Fortinet, and Turgon AI for their partnership in making the event a success. ➡️ Read the recap to get your highlights: https://lnkd.in/ed5JewU4

We were honored to welcome Jake Wood to the MeridianLink LIVE! keynote stage last week. His message on the power of storytelling and how it helps people rise to meet the moment energized the room and left leaders reflecting on how they communicate, inspire, and shape culture in times of uncertainty. #MeridianLinkLIVE
Storytelling is a super power. Last week I delivered a keynote at the MeridianLink Live conference, where I shared thoughts on building and leading teams for times of uncertainty. One of the points I drove home framed storytelling as an under utilized tool for leaders. Humans are storytellers. We have been since we invented the campfire and the spoken word. We tell stories to explain things we can't explain. To remember our past. We share them to make each other laugh, cry, and contemplate. The truth is we all want to be a part of a story. And that desire to be a part of a shared story drives us to do remarkable things. An example I often use is from the United States Marine Corps. At the School of Infantry, when teaching battlefield tactics, the instructors would often start with the Xs and Os, just like a football coach. But then they'd quickly turn to telling us stories of some Marine in some past conflict who had faced that vary same scenario, be it an assault at daybreak or an L-shaped ambush. They told us the stories because they probably realized A) Marines aren't that smart, and would probably forget the Xs and Os, but also B) because they knew that we'd hear, understand, internalize, and contextualize the stories. And when the moment invariably presented itself, Marines would rise and fight to the level of the stories they heard. That's the power of storytelling. You have the opportunity to shape how people view themselves and their capabilities. And then eventually those views and beliefs become their reality. #leadership

More Americans are turning to co-buying—purchasing homes with friends, siblings, parents, and unmarried partners—and it’s creating new dynamics lenders need to be prepared for. As these borrower relationships evolve, lenders are navigating more complex origination scenarios involving multiple income streams, unique ownership structures, and more nuanced risk calculations and disclosures. Many legacy mortgage systems simply weren’t built to support this level of flexibility efficiently. In this blog, we break down: ✔️ Why non-spousal co-buying is gaining momentum ✔️ What these evolving borrower relationships mean for lenders ✔️ Where outdated systems create operational bottlenecks ✔️ How modern mortgage software supports more flexible origination workflows Read it here: https://okt.to/MSGn6U #MortgageLending #MortgageLOS #MortgageLenders #MortgageTechnology

Financial institutions can’t afford for compliance to be an afterthought or a process that sits outside the mortgage lending workflow. The integration between Asurity RegCheck® and MeridianLink brings compliance visibility directly into the origination process, helping lenders reduce friction, streamline reviews, and operate more efficiently. #MortgageCompliance #MortgageTechnology #LendingOperations
One theme that consistently surfaced in conversations around MeridianLink Live! this week was the ongoing focus on operational efficiency and workflow execution across the lending lifecycle. Lenders are looking for ways to operationalize compliance more effectively within the workflow, not as a separate downstream process. This short demo clip highlights how Asurity RegCheck® works within the MeridianLink® environment to provide immediate compliance visibility directly within the origination process. The focus is practical execution: • integrated workflow visibility • operational flexibility • streamlined review processes • reduced friction for lending teams Appreciate the collaboration with MeridianLink as we continue supporting lenders navigating increasingly complex operational and regulatory environments. #MeridianLink #MeridianLinkLIVE #MortgageTechnology #MortgageCompliance #LendingOperations #Fintech #RiskManagement
