Here is some big news worth a quick victory lap. We’re excited to see Midas featured in Autosphere after earning a spot on the Entrepreneur Franchise 500 once again. For 2026, Midas ranked 54 overall and reclaimed the 1 spot in Automotive Repair. That makes six years in a row leading the category and 38 appearances on the list overall. This recognition caps off a big year, from continued franchise growth to new customer-first initiatives like the BS Free Tire Guarantee. Congrats to the entire Midas system on another milestone year. At Midas, getting people back on the road can change everything. Earlier this month, the North Brunswick, NJ Midas team donated a refurbished Chrysler 200 to Shanell Salley, a mother of eight who has faced more loss and hardship this year than most people experience in a lifetime. After the death of her partner, her mother, and her best friend all within weeks, Shanell and her children were left without the support system they depended on and eventually experienced homelessness. With help from Lunch Break Family Promise of Monmouth County, she’s been working to rebuild her life. But one major barrier remained… transportation. For years, Shanell relied on walking, public transit, and rideshares to get to work and care for her family. When Brian Beers and Collin Hamel of Prenlyn Automotive Group, owners of North Brunswick Midas, learned her story, they knew they could help. Through the Midas Project Spark program, and with parts donated by Advance Auto Parts, the North Brunswick Midas team donated their time and expertise to fully restore the vehicle so it’s safe, reliable, and ready for the road. This car means opportunity, stability, and one less daily obstacle standing in the way of Shanell moving forward with her children. This is what community support looks like in action. Midas Mapleview in Ontario, Canada stepped up in a big way this holiday season, donating two tons of food and essential items to the Barrie Food Bank as part of its annual Christmas donation drive. Thanks to the generosity of the local community and the Midas Mapleview team, families in Barrie will have a little more support when they need it most. We are honored to see Midas of Granbury, TX recognized for giving back through Project Spark. In honor of National Car Donation Month, Franchisee Robert Rangel and his team donated a fully refurbished Toyota Camry to U.S. Marine Corps Veteran David Roeder, helping him get back on the road and continue the work that means so much to him. After serving his country, rebuilding his life, and dedicating himself to helping others in his community through volunteer service, David was relying on a vehicle with more than 219,000 miles that often left him stranded. Thanks to the generosity of the Granbury Midas team, David now has a reliable car that gives him peace of mind and the freedom to keep showing up for his family and his community. This is what Project Spark is all about... honoring service, restoring independence, and creating real impact where it matters most. Some holiday moments hit a little differently... and this is one of them. In Lexington, three Midlands families just received an early Christmas gift with a safe, reliable car to help them get to work, school, doctor appointments, and everything in between. The team at Midas Lexington partnered with Family Promise, Inc of the Midlands to make it happen, all as part of car-donation month. South Carolina Quarterback LaNorris Sellers even showed up to hand over the keys and cheer these families on. Community impact doesn’t always come wrapped in a bow... sometimes, it comes on four wheels thanks to franchise owners who believe in helping people move forward.
