Milestone Funeral Partners is expanding our partnership with Chptr—a digital platform dedicated to celebrating life through meaningful storytelling. Together, we’re introducing new ways for families to share memories and keep their communities informed, including televised death notices, social media remembrances, keepsake videos, and memorial slideshows. By leveraging trusted local news outlets and modern digital tools, we’re creating more accessible, meaningful ways to share life stories. This initiative builds on a successful pilot in Central New York, where families and funeral professionals alike have embraced these new opportunities for connection and remembrance. We’re honored to continue supporting the families and communities we serve with thoughtful innovation—because every life deserves to be remembered and every story deserves to be shared.

Milestone Funeral Partners is proud to celebrate Julie Williams and members of her preneed counseling team, who were honored this week at the Homesteaders Leadership Conference in Phoenix. Out of nearly 3,700 agents nationwide, only the top 100 are invited to attend—and Milestone was represented by three: Sara Collins (#15), Kristen Russell-May (#17), and Arden Wallace (#94). An incredible achievement! We’re grateful for the dedication, compassion, and professionalism this team brings to the families they serve every day. Their recognition not only reflects their impact, but also highlights Milestone’s strong national presence and our valued partnership with Homesteaders.

In this key role, our Market Directors will provide leadership and strategic oversight of operations within their designated regions. Serving as a key link between individual locations and Milestone as a whole, our Market Directors will help strengthen our teams, maintain a high level of performance, and foster meaningful connections across the region. Please join us in congratulating the winner of the Milestone Future of Funeral Service Scholarship, Jennifer “Jenny” Smith! Jenny will receive $2,000 toward her education courtesy of Milestone Funeral Partners and FMC. Applicants submitted a thoughtful 5-paragraph essay detailing the ways in which funeral homes could serve their communities better, the issues in funeral service that they are passionate about or would like to improve on, and why and/or how. Each essay was ranked by Milestone's selection committee based on the following criteria: focus; voice; point of view; structure and details; and mechanics.
