💙 Teacher Appreciation Week 💙 At Monarch, our Professional Educators do more than teach. They adjust in the moment, read between the lines, celebrate progress others might miss, and show up every day with patience, creativity, and care. They meet learners where they are and keep showing up—again and again—because they know that’s what it takes. The work isn’t easy, and it’s not always visible. But it matters in ways that are lasting and real. To our Professional Educators—thank you for everything you bring to this community.

Annabelle had a very special day stepping into the role of Head of School for the Day! 💙 She spent time with our leadership team, visited classrooms across campus, and got a glimpse into what it takes to help lead Monarch. It was a fun and meaningful experience, and she fully embraced every part of the day. We loved celebrating Annabelle and the joy she brought to her special day! ✨

Purposeful movement is an essential part of our programming at Monarch because movement supports regulation, focus, body awareness, and readiness to learn. For many of our learners, opportunities to move throughout the day help improve attention, reduce stress, and support emotional and physical well-being. Every student at Monarch has two movement breaks built into their daily schedule. If a learner needs additional movement throughout the day, their individualized plan reflects those supports to ensure they have what they need to be successful. It's great for faculty to get outside twice a day as well!

We have two new additions to our Monarch Center. 🦋💙 Two large butterfly art pieces have recently been added to the space, each carrying special meaning for our community. One butterfly in the reception area was generously donated by a former Monarch family, and the second, located inside the Monarch Center, was a graduation gift left behind by Maddie, Class of 2025. These beautiful pieces are a lasting reminder of growth, transformation, and the many learners and families who leave their mark on Monarch.

💙 Administrative Professionals Day 💙 Today we celebrate the people who keep everything moving behind the scenes—our incredible administrative professionals: Caitlin, Agnes, Ethan, Megan, and Donna! From solving problems before anyone even sees them, to supporting our families, faculty, students, and staff every single day, your work is the steady heartbeat behind so much of what happens at Monarch. Thank you for your patience, your flexibility, your organization, and the countless things you do that often go unseen but never go unnoticed. We are better because of you. 💙
