April was a big month at Mutual of Omaha as we celebrated both National Volunteer Month and Earth Month, living out a commitment to service that’s central to who we are as a company. 🌎 At Mutual, employees are encouraged and supported to volunteer during the workday, in addition to volunteering outside of work hours. Together, they logged more than 1,700 volunteer hours across 32 states and 146 charities in the month of April. On Earth Day, Omaha area employees partnered with Keep Omaha Beautiful to clean up Levi Carter Park, collecting more than 800 pounds of trash. We’re proud of the way our employees show up for their communities and the planet—and of a culture where giving back is part of how we show up every day.
