  • Yesterday, students across National Heritage Academies® came together for Project Gratitude, a thank-you letter campaign honoring our veterans and service members in recognition of World Kindness Day. Across 100 NHA schools, students wrote heartfelt notes of appreciation, celebrating the power of kindness, character, and service. With thousands of letters collected and our goal of 50,000, we are grateful for the effort and enthusiasm shown across our schools. #NHAProjectGratitude #gratitude #education #community

  • At National Heritage Academies® (NHA), we believe gratitude is more than a feeling. It’s a habit that strengthens communities.   On this World Kindness Day we’re demonstrating our Moral Focus™ virtue of Gratitude through Project Gratitude, writing thank-you notes to educators across our network, showing appreciation for the work they do every day.   They show up with purpose. They inspire students. They partner with families. They elevate our mission.   Thank you for the heart you bring to this work and the lives you shape along the way. Your dedication is what makes our schools exceptional.   We’re grateful today and every day.   #NHAProjectGratitude #gratitude #education #community

  • At National Heritage Academies®, gratitude isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we practice as part of our Moral Focus™ curriculum.    This November we embracing our Moral Focus™ virtue of Gratitude in a powerful and unified way. More than 100 NHA partner schools across the country will come together for Project Gratitude, a network-wide event where students will write 50,000 thank-you letters to veterans and active-duty service members.   Through this shared act of appreciation, our students learn that gratitude is a habit that grows stronger when you express it. They also discover the impact a simple thank you can have on someone who has served our nation with courage and commitment.   Project Gratitude brings our mission to life by helping students build character, strengthen community, and understand the importance of serving others. We’re proud to see our schools unite around a practice that reflects who we are and what we stand for.   We look forward to celebrating this meaningful event on Thursday, November 13th, World Kindness Day.   You can read more about our Moral Focus virtue of Gratitude here: https://lnkd.in/ef-r_Asp   #NHAProjectGratitude #Gratitude #Community

  • We are proud to see former National Heritage Academies students return to lead the next generation of learners. Ms. Hasselkus, a recent Hope College graduate, will be serving as a Resource Room teacher this year at South Arbor Charter Academy. She attended South Arbor from kindergarten through 8th grade, giving her a unique perspective on what makes the NHA experience so meaningful. As an NHA alumna, she is passionate about building strong relationships with her students and supporting both their academic and personal growth, the very values that shaped her own educational journey. Welcome back, Ms. Hasselkus!
