Today during BSOC 3rd Battalion’s Fleet Day, students stepped out of the classroom to gain insight into the Navy’s diverse platforms and first duty station opportunities. NSCS staff with operational experience aboard ships and expeditionary units spent the day sharing sea stories, personal lessons, and firsthand knowledge about life in the fleet. From shipboard service to expeditionary logistics, these insights gave students a clearer picture of where they may serve, what to expect, and how Supply Officers sustain deployed units across the Navy. One step closer to the fleet!

Today, the Navy Supply Corps School partnered with the Naval War College Museum to advance wargame integration in the Basic Supply Officer Course curriculum. Wargames place students in simulated conflict scenarios, challenging them to assess risk, weigh outcomes, and make decisions under pressure. By introducing junior Supply Officers to strategic thinking early in their careers, NSCS and NWC are helping develop leaders ready to sustain naval forces in an increasingly complex threat environment. A special thank you to the Naval War College Museum for joining us and facilitating this valuable training experience. Your expertise and partnership are helping shape the future of Navy leadership!
