Exciting news for Ogden and Weber County! 👏 The Rumor Hotel project is another strong signal that our visitor economy continues to grow and evolve. Tourism is an economic development driver that benefits our entire community. Last year alone, visitors spent more than $560 million in Weber County, generating over $78 million in tax revenue that helps support local services and infrastructure. This new hotel project helps address a real need for additional lodging capacity in our market. This diversification of lodging inventory will help us serve visitors looking for a different type of lodging product. Perhaps most exciting is the location. A hotel opening directly onto Historic 25th Street creates a true win-win, giving visitors an immersive Ogden experience while increasing foot traffic and opportunity for our incredible local restaurants, shops, and businesses.
