A weekend we’ll never forget! Led by Music Director Eric Jacobsen, our two SOLD OUT performances featuring Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and the world premiere of James Lee III's Symphony No. 2 "Resolute Souls" were a powerful celebration of music, community, and collaboration at its finest. We were honored to welcome incredible guest artists, recognize our 2026 Orchestra of Distinction winners, receive a generous gift from the Friends of the Orlando Philharmonic, and share the stage with the UCF University Choir for an unforgettable finale. A special thanks to our 25/26 Season presenting sponsor AdventHealth, Classics Series sponsor Dr. Phillips Charities, and concert sponsors Lawrence Kellogg and Cathy Roth Kellogg for helping make this extraordinary weekend possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

This past weekend, we were thrilled to welcome the University of Central Florida Mighty Knights to our Symphony Storytime performance of Little Red Riding Hood presented by Writer's Block Bookstore. In support of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, you may have noticed a touch of green throughout the day.💚 The UCF Mighty Knights program was created to provide inclusive, adaptive play experiences for children with complex communication and motor needs (CCMN) and their families, and we’re so grateful to have them join us. We’re also excited to share that we’ve received a United Arts of Central Florida 2026 Community Impact Grant in partnership with Mighty Knights! This support will help us better serve children with CCMN by training our volunteers and expanding adaptive resources, including seating and communication tools, to ensure every child feels welcome and comfortable at Symphony Storytime. Thank you, United Arts! We can’t wait to grow this partnership in the 26/27 Season, bringing more joy, connection, and a love of music to families across our community. 🎶 UCF AAC Lab #GoGreenForCP #AccessibilityMatters #UnitedArtsCFL #UnitedArts #MakeArtThrive

A recent viral interview with actor Timothée Chalamet reignited a familiar question: Are traditional art forms still relevant to modern audiences? 💡 Events like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in Concert offer a powerful answer! On Saturday, March 14, audiences will experience the film with John Williams’ iconic score performed live by your Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, transforming a movie into something bigger. This immersive event will bring film fans, families, and longtime concertgoers together for the same reason: the magic of live music and storytelling.
