The discussion was insightful, positive, and focused on the tremendous opportunity ahead for companies and professionals willing to evolve with the market. 🚀 One of the biggest takeaways was that while AI will disrupt certain traditional roles, it is also expected to create millions of new opportunities across the industry. ✨Education, mentorship, and opportunity can transform futures.✨ I recently attended the graduation ceremony for the first Bridge to STEM cohort at Santa Clara University, and it was incredibly inspiring to see 20 students complete a three-month program at Evergreen Valley College, in partnership with Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley focused on higher education, STEM pathways, leadership, networking, and personal growth. These students explored what is possible through STEM education by learning about university transfers, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, branding, LinkedIn development, and even participating in hands-on experiences and lab tours at Stanford University. Thank you to Lorenzo Gamboa EdD from Santa Clara University for sharing your inspiring story and for reminding students that their background does not define their future. Your message about resilience, mentorship, first-generation college students, and believing in your potential deeply resonated with everyone in the room. He also highlighted the many opportunities available at Santa Clara University, from engineering and business to AI, humanities, innovation, and direct collaboration with industry leaders in Silicon Valley. What stood out most was Santa Clara’s commitment to combining technology, ethics, leadership, and human potential in a way that prepares students for the future.
