I like this quote from Graham Neray of Oso about selling to platform engineers and why on-prem and self-hosted options are often preferrable for enterprise. The most stressful moment in a platform engineer's life is when something breaks. If given a choice between slow SaaS customer support and troubleshooting themselves, they'll take the latter every time. Check out the rest of the Secure Ventures with Kyle McNulty podcast episode wherever you get your podcasts!
