We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Kevin Jenkins CCC, and the Healthy Kids Collaborative - CIA! Providing schools with USA‑grown fruits is a top priority for us, and Kevin has developed some truly fantastic recipes through this program. The Garland, Texas school district was lucky to sample these recipes today.

On March 19, 2026, Pacific Coast Producers officially completed the purchase of key Del Monte canned fruit and fruit cup assets, including rights to use the Del Monte® and S&W® brands. “We remain committed to delivering healthy, high‑quality, and affordable fruit products to consumers, while continuing the legacy of excellence associated with the Del Monte brand,” said Matt Strong, President & CEO. Since 1971, our mission has remained the same: protect grower livelihoods through shared ownership and provide consumers with exceptional fruit products. On February 6, 2026, Pacific Coast Producers has received court approval for the acquisition of key Del Monte Foods fruit business assets, including canned fruit and fruit cup inventory, as well as the U.S. and Mexico rights to license and use the Del Monte and S&W brands for shelf-stable fruit. The approval followed a full, court-supervised auction process conducted as part of Del Monte’s Chapter 11 proceedings in New Jersey. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. “This transaction allows us to support an iconic brand and continue the time-honored tradition of delivering healthy fruit options to families across the country,” said Matt Strong, President & CEO of Pacific Coast Producers. “We are also humbled by the opportunity to provide relief to fruit growers impacted by Del Monte’s bankruptcy.” As a grower-owned cooperative, PCP remains committed to expanding sourcing, maximizing production capacity, and strengthening the future of West Coast agriculture. 📄 Full press release: https://lnkd.in/gp5qKmZD
