As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we reflect on Hetty Green, also known in the late 1800s as the “Queen of Wall Street”. Hetty is iconically remembered for her level-headedness during the Panic of 1907, where her willingness to lend amid turmoil helped to stabilize financiers in crisis.
