The PAX sapiens Joint Action on Drug Elimination (JADE) initiative is working in Vienna with UNODC and other collaborators to activate with the global networks seeking to stop the flow of fentanyl and other deadly illicit drugs.

Authored by Dr. Olamide Samuel, Kseniia Pirnavskaia and Valeriia Hesse. The report highlights that these frameworks are more than legal instruments—they function as tools of regional security governance, nuclear risk reduction and political restraint. At the same time, the regime faces growing challenges, including unresolved protocol issues, capacity constraints, weak coordination across zones and structural gaps that leave some states outside existing arrangements. #NPT2026 #DPRK #Nonproliferation #NuclearPolicy
