Logistics Property Company, LLC has broken ground on Eagle 25 Logistics Center, a new four‑building industrial park at the southeast corner of I‑25 and E‑470 in Thornton, offering up to 750,372 square feet at full build‑out. Three speculative buildings total 608,412 square feet, a fourth pad is reserved for a build‑to‑suit of up to 141,960 square feet, and adjacent land can accommodate another build‑to‑suit of up to 500,000 square feet on 60 acres. Three days. That's all it took to lift and set every tilt-up panel for the WIC industrial building, in Aurora, Colorado, a major milestone just 10 weeks from breaking ground. This design-build, build-to-suit facility, developed in partnership with Western Industrial Contractors is quickly taking shape. The 64,000 SF building includes 50,000 SF of warehouse space and a two-level office with mezzanine totaling 28,000 SF. The lift required extra coordination, including drilling helical piers and bracing 16 exterior panels. A portion of the slab was intentionally left out due to right-of-way and site constraints, allowing the crane to maneuver inside the building footprint and set every panel before the foundation is completed in phases. Our team had a front-row seat, getting hands-on exposure to the tilt-up process from start to finish.
