This week, our Charlotte Service Center hosted Plastics Family Americas General Manager Training, bringing together leaders from across the organization for several days of leadership development, collaboration, and operational learning. Representing Polymershapes in this group were Tom Duggan from Santa Fe Springs and George Taylor from Atlanta, both continuing to build the skills and perspective needed to lead successful local operations. Throughout the week, attendees explored topics including business planning, sales culture, analytics, recruiting, support services, safety, and value added distribution strategies. The discussions were practical, collaborative, and centered on the real responsibilities that come with leading a local business. A special thank you to Jason Askew, Chris C., and Terry Kelley for sharing their experience and insight throughout the program, and to Liane Soohoo, Claire Tart, MBA, and the Charlotte team for hosting the week and creating a great environment for learning and connection. The week also included facility tours, team dinners, and a Beat the Bomb challenge that brought plenty of teamwork and energy outside the classroom.
