Most people have never heard of Direct Primary Care. Once they understand it, they wonder why they ever accepted anything else. In this clip, Dr. Kyle Rickner, co-founder and Chairman of  Primary Health Partners, breaks down exactly how the Direct Primary Care model works. Three things make DPC different: 1. A flat monthly membership fee Instead of navigating insurance premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and surprise bills, patients pay one predictable monthly fee. Think of it like a gym membership — but for your primary care. No billing surprises. No paperwork. Just straightforward access to your physician. 2. A restricted panel size In a traditional practice, a physician may carry a panel of 2,000 to 3,500 patients. In Direct Primary Care, that number is intentionally limited. That smaller panel is what makes everything else possible. 3. Real accessibility and more time with each patient When a physician isn't responsible for thousands of patients, they can actually be present for each one. Same-day or next-day visits. Direct access by call, text, or video. Longer appointments. A physician who knows your history, your goals, and your name and has the time to act on all of it.
