About us

From our origins in New York in 2002, rag & bone was founded on a belief of uncompromising ideals: a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way. To making things that are as original as they are timeless. To being true to ourselves, even when that truth sets us apart from the mainstream. We still believe in the same principles we started with: the easy elegance of classic British tailoring, the authenticity of American workwear, and the originality of our home city, New York. As New Yorkers, community and authenticity have become synonymous with our brand. An inclusive environment at rag & bone upholds our original values by encouraging employee connection and empowering each individual to have a voice on policy, process, and collaboration for a more equitable future.

Updates

  • rag & bone is introducing a new series spotlighting New York creatives whose craft, character, and personal style shape the city’s cultural rhythm. This initiative delivers on the new brand strategy to align more closely with the creative class while building community.   Spring '26 centers on two culinary voices influencing New York : Sophia Roe and Adam Kenworthy.   Sophia, a James Beard Award–winning chef and writer, brings a perspective defined by movement, flavor, and feeling—reflected in a wardrobe built for expression. Adam, a plant‑based chef and photographer, blends craft and connection into a simple, quality‑driven uniform.    Their distinct viewpoints bring a real‑life dimension to the Spring collection, highlighting key denim stories including Women’s Saige Low-rise Jeans and Men’s Infuse Denim.    To learn more, visit www.rag-bone.com

We see rag & bone has put its signage up. What we love here is the understatement: Simple yet confident. This is a retailer that doesn’t need to shout – finding a home in a shopping district where shouting isn’t the way. Rag & Bone is, we think, a most welcome addition to Downtown Birmingham.

  • rag & bone at Pitti Uomo rag & bone was proud to present its Fall 2026 Menswear collection at Pitti Uomo this month. Fall 2026 introduced “Tailored in Denim,” the debut collection from Swaim Hutson, rag & bone’s new Head of Menswear Design. The collection fused sharp tailoring with denim, leather, and workwear influences—where American sportswear met British precision. Clean lines and fresh color pops defined a modern uniform for the rag & bone man. At the center of this evolution was RB RAW, a breakthrough in denim innovation. Engineered to preserve the depth and sheen of raw denim while minimizing shrinkage and crocking, RB RAW offered softness from the first wear and a stay-raw aesthetic even after wash and wash. Authentic, washable, and built for real life—raw denim reimagined. At Pitti, rag & bone brought its signature New York sensibility to Florence with an experience designed to showcase the collection’s craftsmanship and innovation. The space offered an immersive look at “Tailored in Denim,” complemented by tattoo artists who personalized denim totes for guests—an understated edge that spoke to the brand’s roots. With “Tailored in Denim” and RB RAW, rag & bone signaled a bold evolution—where craft, innovation, and real‑world wear converge to define the future of the brand. Swaim Hutson

What a night! Our 40th Anniversary Gala was more than a celebration: it was a testament to what’s possible when purpose and partnership come together. 💙 Thanks to our incredible supporters, honorees, and partners, we raised a record-breaking $2.3 million to continue delivering comfort, dignity, and hope to people facing hardship and disaster. It was an unforgettable night — from Carl Banks’ inspiring kickoff to heartfelt tributes to our honorees: Oscar Feldenkreis and George Feldenkreis (posthumously), recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award; Andrew Rosen recipient of the Impact Award; and a very special recognition of the visionaries who started it all — our Founders, honored with the Founders Award. As Matthew Fasciano, CEO, reminded us, Delivering Good is there when disaster strikes or when everyday need arises — with brand-new products, hope, and heart. And with so many people impacted by crises like Hurricane Melissa, that mission has never been more urgent. Thank you to KnitWell Group for sponsoring our Essentials Kit packed by each of you. And thank you to our sponsors, honorees, speakers, and supporters who made this milestone possible. You are part of a 40-year legacy of delivering comfort and restoring hope — and the reason we can look to the future with such optimism and determination. If you’re inspired to deepen your support, you can make a gift:  delivering-good.org/donate. Here’s to the next forty years of Delivering Good!

Earlier this month, we had the privilege of welcoming our store leaders from across the U.S., EU, and UK to a vibrant Leadership Conference in the heart of NYC’s Meatpacking District. From strategic deep-dives and leadership development workshops to peer networking and moments of well-deserved recognition, the event was a powerful celebration of the impact our store leaders make every single day. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this experience to life—and to our Store Managers for showing up with curiosity, passion, and purpose!

  • This past Sunday, rag & bone and Guess? associates came together to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Central Park - a powerful event that brings communities together to honor survivors, raise awareness, and fund life-saving research. It was inspiring to see our team walking side by side with thousands of others committed to creating a future free from breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and cheered us on!

  • In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗 Last week, our team came together to host a Pink Party in support of the American Cancer Society — gathering for treats, sweats, and meaningful conversation about a cause that touches so many. With a representative from ACS joining us to share their important work, we also raised funds to help make a difference. On October 20th, our team will walk together — united by purpose and in support of those impacted by breast cancer. A big thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, and helped make this first event so special. #ragandbone #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #AmericanCancerSociety #Community #WeAreRagAndBone
