🎨🚩 Big congratulations to Northwest Rankin High School sophomore Rodgers Brown for earning top honors in the City of Flowood’s flag design contest! Earlier this semester, students from Northwest Rankin, Hartfield, and Jackson Prep submitted original designs for the competition. After careful consideration by the Flowood City Council, with guidance from Pacesetter Gallery owner Keri Davis, Rodgers’ design was selected as the winning entry! Rodgers, a student in both Art 2 and Art 3 at NRHS, is known for his incredible talent, creativity, and dedication in the classroom. His hard work was recognized during a special ceremony at Flowood City Hall, where he was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the City of Flowood.
