Related Midwest and LR Contracting Company reached an important construction milestone at 400 Lake Shore with the completion of the North Tower’s primary belt wall, which is an essential structural element designed to reinforce the residence against Chicago’s strong lakefront winds. Once complete, the North Tower will stand at 858 feet and will be joined by the South Tower at 765 feet, offering a total of 1,100 market rate and affordable residences within the Streeterville neighborhood. Related Argent's Brent Cross Town has announced the winners of its 2025 Community Fund. Partnering with Vattenfall - the park town’s energy provider - a total of £50,000 has been awarded to six projects located within London's Borough of Barnet. Brent Cross Town put out a call for community projects that focused on employment, skills development, training and education, and this year's winners were then voted on by North London locals. On Wednesday evening, Related EVP Frank Monterisi accepted, on behalf of Queens Development Group (a joint venture of Related Companies and Sterling Equities), a Commercial Observer award for Multifamily Development of the Year for Phase 1 of Willets Point’s first two buildings, Willets Point Commons. The 880 units of affordable housing are now accepting applications through NYC Housing Connect. Congratulations to Brent Cross Town, named a winner at the 2026 WiredScore Leadership Awards. The project received a Technology Leadership Award (Neighborhood) in the Live and Work Sustainably category.    This recognition reflects the work being done to ensure sustainability at Brent Cross Town is built into the neighborhood as a whole, and not treated as an afterthought or confined to individual buildings. Technology is being used to make lower-impact living and working easier and more intuitive for those who use the neighborhood every day.

This week, students from the Boston College Endeavor Program joined Related Beal for an immersive discussion and property tour, offering a closer look at career opportunities across the real estate industry. The session featured team members from development, construction, legal, marketing, and property management, who shared insights into diverse career paths.

This holiday season, teams across Related Companies came together to support children and families in our communities. In New York, the team supported the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program, as well as the Church of the Holy Apostles toy drive, helping bring holiday joy to underprivileged children and families. In Chicago, Related Midwest participated in a holiday toy drive benefiting One Family Illinois and children in foster care. We’re grateful to our teams and partners for helping make a meaningful impact this holiday season.

Michigan is truly leading the way in terms of creating a framework for responsible digital infrastructure development. Today’s approval by the Michigan Public Service Commission allows Related Digital’s Saline project to move forward—a multi-billion-dollar investment in Michigan that will deliver a more than 1-gigawatt data center campus for Oracle as part of OpenAI and Oracle’s previously announced partnership to deliver 4.5 gigawatts of additional Stargate capacity.
