𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙎𝘼𝙇𝙀𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝙋𝙎 𝘼𝙁𝙍𝘼𝙄𝘿 𝙊𝙁 𝙁𝘼𝙄𝙇𝙐𝙍𝙀? Listen to Sebastian Jimenez, CEO of Rilla as we talk about the concept of failing, and how to use failure to become amazingly successful. In an excerpt from Episode 3 of my podcast, 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚, Sebastian and I talk about how many leaders in the sales industry create a "fear" culture, making reps terrified of failing, rather than embracing failure as a learning tool. This is the wrong approach, and an approach that creates hugh-turnover, stressed-out sales people, and a "walking on egg shells" environment. Do YOU embrace failure when it comes to YOUR sales teams? Check out all the golden nuggets dropped by Sebastian in the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/ewkYTNDb Or click on the link in the comments below. #sellinginthedwelling #allanlanger #the7secrets #inhomesales

78% sales rep retention. The best number in 48 years of business at Ohio State Waterproofing. It didn't happen by accident. Ohio State Waterproofing started using Rilla to coach their sales team. When new reps see early wins, that success becomes contagious. Veterans stay because they're still growing. And when you build your entire sales process and your tech stack around the right tool, everything compounds. Hear their story below.

One of the best hires we made didn't come from a job board. Rachel quit her job at JP Morgan 5 months out of college. Most people told her she was making a mistake. But she showed up as a Rilla brand ambassador, figuring out her next move. Within six weeks I knew she wasn't going anywhere. Not because of her resume. But because of how she operated. She was a D1 heptathlete six months before joining us full-time. You could see it immediately. The discipline, the coachability, the willingness to do whatever it took. So we hired her full-time as a CSM. She's now one of our best, working with some of our biggest enterprise clients. Making an impact across thousands of sales reps and managers nationwide. Memorizing every customer's pain points before the first call. Staying after hours studying customer data. Mapping out every friction point in the onboarding. Raising the bar for how our CSM team works with customers. Sometimes unconventional paths make for unconventional hires. And those are the people who change everything.

I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in 1 sitting. 3500 calories. 20 minutes. Done. I'm usually sprinting between 3 floors at Rilla during the day. This is just what works for me. Does it matter? No. Every Rilla employee gets a Ramp card. Coffee and meals covered 3x a day. UberEats when needed. Daily catering through Forkable. No approvals. No expense reports for your sweetgreen. It's yours to use how you want. We don't care how you do it. Spend it all at once like me. Spread it throughout the day. Bring lunch from home and grab dinner. Most companies have the same fear: "What if someone abuses the company card?" So they end up building rigid expense policies. But if we hired you, we trust your judgement. Because we give our employees a lot of responsibility. Both in making decisions for the team and how you spend company money.

Our employee walked into a crawlspace company. They were waiting for him with a gong. This is Diego Garcia. He flew out to AMC 911 in Virginia for a customer ridealong last week. At Rilla, we send our entire team into the field. From our engineers and AEs, to our CSMs and marketers. Everyone gets on a plane. So they can meet our customers and watch them in their workflow. See exactly how they use our product. What's clicking. What’s not. Hear feedback no survey could ever capture. It's why we ship new features faster than anyone. Moments like this remind me it's about more than the product. Our customers aren't just users. They're part of what we're building together. We love showing up for them. And they love having us.

Rilla has climbed at nearly every gym in New York City. Every Tuesday, 15% of the team climbs after work. Engineers. CSMs. Sales. Ops. I occasionally find myself there too. People who don't typically work on the same projects climbing together. We provide a monthly $300 gym stipend because we believe fitness is part of performance. Mental sharpness. Resilience. Showing up as your best self. When you join Rilla, you find people who care about the same things you do. People who set goals and actually hit them. People who push themselves and end up pushing you. Spring is here. Rilla sports clubs are back. Basketball. Soccer. Running. Climbing. The fitness Slack channels have never been more active. It will surprise you how fast we move as a company. We also take our health seriously. Showing up as your best self isn't just for you. It's also how we do our best work for our customers. If you are in NYC and want to climb with the Rilla team, let us know.

3 months in, she had more ownership than most engineers get in two years. Meet Mihika Rao. She graduated from UVA and joined Rilla in Fall of 2025. Her first day? The inaugural Rilla Hackathon in upstate New York. There's no easing into the job here. Just real problems and the trust to go solve them. That's what we build for. You get thrown in. You figure it out fast. Mihika did exactly that. If you want work that matters from day one, we're hiring. rilla.com/careers 🚀
