𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, and at San Antonio Regional Hospital, we want to make this the month you take care of you. Women's health is shaped by routine moments more than dramatic ones. The exam scheduled. The screening completed. The vaccine considered. The conversation with your care team. These small acts of attention are how serious illnesses are caught early, when they are most treatable. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. Breast cancer screening saves lives, and it is the single most important step women can take in early detection. SARH's Women's Breast and Imaging Center offers digital mammograms, 3D mammograms, ultrasound, breast MRI, and patient navigation, all in one place. Through our Women Caring for Women outreach program, low-income and uninsured women in our community can access these services regardless of ability to pay, including a $49.95 mammogram voucher available year-round. Call our Nurse Navigator at 909.920.6258. 𝗣𝗔𝗣 𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗿. Regular cervical cancer screening catches cell changes before they become cancer. If it has been a while, make the appointment with your provider. 𝗛𝗣𝗩 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲. Human Papillomavirus is the leading cause of cervical cancer, and the HPV vaccine is one of the most effective tools we have to prevent it. The CDC recommends vaccination at ages 11 to 12, and individuals through age 26 can still receive the full series. Talk with your provider, or call SARH at 909.985.2811 with questions. SARH is also honored to be a 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, recognized both nationally and across California for excellence in hysterectomy and uterine and ovarian cancer surgeries. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. Schedule the mammogram. Make the appointment. Have the conversation. Share this post with the women in your life who would do the same for you. #HereForLife #WomensHealthMonth

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆. This year's theme says it plainly: Controlling Hypertension Together. Check your blood pressure regularly. Defeat the silent killer. An estimated 1.4 billion people around the world live with hypertension. It is the leading preventable cause of premature death, and most people who have it do not know. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗱. 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳. Hypertension does not feel like anything at all until it does. San Antonio Regional Hospital's Heart Center is here for the Inland Empire when high blood pressure becomes an emergency. We would much rather help you keep that day from coming. Share this post with someone whose blood pressure has not been checked in a while. #HereForLife #WorldHypertensionDay #BloodPressure

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟳𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, our nation's day of gratitude for the men and women currently serving in every branch of the United States military. Established by President Harry Truman in 1949 to bring the recognition of all service branches under a single observance, Armed Forces Day honors the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard, the people who wear the uniform, and the families who support them. At San Antonio Regional Hospital, our care extends to active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses, and military children who call the Inland Empire home. We are honored to be a part of their healthcare story. To everyone who has answered the call to serve, and to the families who carry that weight alongside them, thank you. Your service shapes our community, our country, and the freedom we share. Join us in honoring the men and women of our armed forces. Over the course of three days, team members are invited to pause for tea, cookies, conversation, and. if desired, an individual blessing of their hands in recognition of the compassionate and sacred work they provide each day. This annual tradition is one small way our Spiritual Care team seeks to express appreciation for the dedication of our caregivers and to remind our staff that they, too, deserve moments of encouragement, support, and care. It is a special opportunity for the Spiritual Care Department to tangibly express our gratitude and honor the compassion, dedication, and quiet acts of service our coworkers offer to one another and to our patients every day. Through these individual blessings, we hope to offer encouragement and renewed strength for the sacred work they continue to carry out. Seeing the smiles, connection, and appreciation that come from this event reminds us that we receive far more blessing than we could ever hope to give.” Happy Hospital Week to all of our incredible caregivers and staff at San Antonio Regional Hospital. #HereForLife #BlessingHands
