In celebration of Classified Employees Week, we are proud to spotlight Ms. Minie, whose passion, talent, and dedication have supported students and families for over 30 years in education. For the past 8 years at Parkside, Minie has served as a Parent Liaison, building strong connections with families and working closely with the school community. She also brings her love of music into her work as a classically trained vocalist and vocal coach for the Spindrift Musical, “Descendants.” Minie is committed to lifelong learning and communication—she speaks Tagalog and American Sign Language, and is currently learning Spanish to better serve families. Her kindness, creativity, and dedication shine in everything she does, and we are grateful for the impact she makes every day. #SBPSD -- En celebración de la Semana de los Empleados Clasificados, nos enorgullece destacar a mS. Minie, cuya pasión, talento y dedicación han apoyado a estudiantes y familias por más de 30 años en el ámbito educativo. Durante los últimos 8 años en Parkside, Minie ha servido como Enlace de Padres, creando fuertes conexiones con las familias y trabajando de cerca con la comunidad escolar. También comparte su amor por la música como cantante clásica y coach vocal para el musical de Spindrift, “Descendants.” Minie está comprometida con el aprendizaje continuo y la comunicación: habla tagalo y lenguaje de señas americano (ASL), y actualmente está aprendiendo español para servir mejor a las familias. Su amabilidad, creatividad y dedicación se reflejan en todo lo que hace, y estamos muy agradecidos por el impacto que genera cada día.

This week, we celebrate Classified Employee Appreciation Week and recognize the dedicated staff of the San Bruno Park School District whose work is essential to the success of our schools every day. From classroom support to office staff, custodians, paraeducators, nutrition services, maintenance, and so many more roles, classified employees ensure that our schools run smoothly, safely, and with care. Your contributions create the strong foundation that allows students and teachers to thrive. We are deeply grateful for your commitment, teamwork, and the many ways you support our students, families, and school communities. Need support? We’re here to help. If you’re having trouble paying rent, need food or essentials, or want to get connected to community resources, a YMCA Community Resource Center Case Manager can guide you. Ask for an appointment at the Belle Air Resource Center. Services include case management, food assistance, financial support for rent and utilities, unhoused and shelter resources, and help with critical needs. Appointments are available the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 12–4 PM. --- ¿Necesitas apoyo? Estamos aquí para ayudarte. Si tienes dificultades para pagar la renta, necesitas comida o artículos esenciales, o quieres conectarte con recursos comunitarios, un administrador de casos del Centro de Recursos Comunitarios de YMCA puede orientarte. The San Bruno Park School District offers high-quality early learning programs that support children’s growth, development, and school readiness.
