"An iicon panel featuring execs from Scopely and Niantic games recounted the former’s $3.5B purchase of the latter in 2025. The conversation yielded positive assessment of the deal, one year in: good team chemistry, execs sticking around, 10% YoY increase in engagement for #PokémonGO, double digit increases in kilometers walked while playing the games ... More of a surprise was the upbeat talk about the less-discussed 2021 Nintendo collab #PikminBloom, a mobile game that tasks players to walk outside to plant virtual flowers, teaming up with little Pikmin creatures along the way." - Stephen Totilo Thanks for the coverage Stephen! 👏 🔗 Read Stephen's complete take on our iicon session ft. Headshots can be stressful. So last month, our Early Careers Employee Resource Group organized sessions for our employees in hubs across the globe. There was something special about seeing the faces shaping our company step in front of the camera and be their authentic selves. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the process in our Herzliya hub. 😄 Thanks to Moses Pini Siluk for capturing the moment and making everyone feel confident throughout the process, and of course, thank you to our employees who stepped outside their comfort zones and became models for a day!

When we had the opportunity to install new art in our Culver City hub to celebrate our 15th anniversary, it was an easy choice. We think origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, symbolizes the craft, care, patience and precision that goes into building games, and it’s the muse of our Scopely logo. Our latest installation celebrates our origami-inspired “S” surrounded by a world of imagination. It’s great to have another daily reminder that simple ideas can unfold into something immersive and innovative. #Scopely15 Thank you, ENSO Creative Team!

Beyond excited to reconnect with some of my favorite people at MAU next week. I’ll be joining a few panels alongside actual industry geniuses to talk about the power of IPs, standing out in an increasingly crowded market, and what it really takes to grow games in 2026. Honestly humbled to spend a few days being not the smartest person in the room for once 😄 Looking forward to the reunion, questionable conference coffee, and pretending Vegas is a sustainable lifestyle.

Last week, Scopely had the opportunity to participate in the FIB Visiona Day in Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to the organizers for putting together such a well-run event and creating a space where students and companies could connect in a meaningful way. Our team of 15 Scopeleans, had the chance to meet more than 250 students throughout the day. We conducted 77 interviews, invited 24 candidates to continue the process at our office, and ultimately extended internship offers to 7 talented students. Beyond the hires themselves, one of the highlights was meeting so many motivated and high-potential students who we hope to stay connected with for future opportunities. A special thank you as well to everyone from Scopely who participated and helped create such a positive candidate experience. Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of investing in early talent and building connections with the next generation of engineers and data professionals. Looking forward to next year already!
