This #BikeToWorkDay, we’re highlighting projects that help communities move in different ways. 🚲 The map we’re sharing traces a symbolic route through communities connected to SEH projects, representing the miles our employee-owners have been logging during our #BikeThere Challenge along the way. Trails, streetscapes, and safer transportation networks all play a role in helping people walk, bike, roll, and stay connected to their communities. Wherever your ride takes you today, enjoy the miles ahead! #BikeToWorkDay #ActiveTransportation #Trails #CommunityInfrastructure #BikeThere

☀️What a fantastic day for a bike tour! Had a wonderful time at Day 1 of the “Minneapolis Bikeway Evolution” Walkshop for #NACTO2026 together with our team leader Peter Bennett and cofacilitators Spencer Evert, PE, Issac Prehall, Erin Jordan, PE, RSP and Justin Gese! These walkshops are my favorite part of NACTO (National Association of City Transportation Officials) conferences and it is a privilege to help show off great multimodal infrastructure in the City of Minneapolis and some of the SEH contributions to it over the years with this awesome team! #multimodal #safety #bikewayevolution #teamwork #grateful

One of the best parts of being a structural engineer is getting out into the field and seeing how things actually work years after construction. Yesterday I was up in the air. Today I was down inside a reservoir. Two completely different environments, both full of lessons you just cannot get from behind a desk. Seeing materials age, details perform, and structures operate in service brings design decisions into perspective in a whole new way. Material selection and design life hit differently when you are standing right next to it. Sorry wood, concrete is my favorite right now. Never a boring day in this profession! This is truly a career of lifelong learning. #StructuralEngineering #Engineering #FieldWork #CivilEngineering #Infrastructure #Inspection #EngineeringLife #STEMCareers SEH

💰Texas communities have a rare opportunity in front of them right now! Through the Texas Water Development Board’s Water Supply and Infrastructure Grants program, more than $1 billion in water infrastructure funding is available, and decisions being made today could shape long-term water reliability for years to come. 🎥 Norma Daniela Garnica breaks down who qualifies, what projects are eligible, and why planning early matters ahead of the July 30 deadline. #WaterInfrastructure #Infrastructure #DrinkingWater #TexasWater

Lead service line inventories were a major milestone. But for many utilities, the real infrastructure challenge is what comes next. ⏭️ Replacement planning, updated sampling requirements, funding pressures, public communication, and tighter compliance timelines are forcing communities to think beyond the inventory itself! For utility leaders and public infrastructure teams, this next phase is about balancing long term system improvements with day-to-day operational realities. We break down what communities should be prioritizing as Lead and Copper Rule Improvements continue to roll out! #Infrastructure #WaterInfrastructure #DrinkingWater #WaterUtilities #PublicInfrastructure
