What an incredible afternoon at #ElizabethSetonChildrens annual #CherishTheChild2026 luncheon last week! We are deeply grateful to the many sponsors and friends who joined us at the New York Athletic Club - Travers Island for a heartfelt celebration of hope. Together, we raised an extraordinary $235,000 in critical support for our pioneering young adult center: a first of its kind home designed to ensure young adults living with medical complexity continue receiving the specialized care and opportunities they need and deserve. On Friday, we hosted our annual Mission Awards ceremony to recognize team members who embody our Core Values of Respect, Adaptability, Compassion and Excellence and who view their work not just as a job, but as a true vocation of service and care. In the spirit of Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the beautiful bond between Emilie and her son, Salvatore, an #ElizabethSetonChildrensCenter resident. A heartfelt moment at today’s #ElizabethSetonChildrens #CherishTheChild2026 luncheon came when our special guest, Colonel Christina Fanitzi, a career Army officer currently serving as a Regimental Tactical Officer at the United States Military Academy at West Point, Mrs. New York America 2025 and 2025 New York Mother of the Year, shared her family’s story. Colonel Fanitzi spoke about her son Christian, her courageous spina bifida warrior, and her inspiring journey as a mother, wife and leader. Her service, strength and devotion to family reflect what it means to lead with courage and face life in a way that calls others forward. Thank you for opening your heart with us, Colonel Fanitzi! ❤️

On Monday, we were deeply honored to welcome His Excellency, The Most Reverend Ronald A. Hicks, Archbishop of New York, to #ElizabethSetonChildrensCenter and #ElizabethSetonChildrensSchool in Yonkers for his first visit! Archbishop Hicks toured our campus, offered a heartfelt blessing over our home and spent meaningful time meeting some of our beloved children, young adults and their families, as well as our extraordinary staff. His presence was a powerful affirmation of the faith, compassion and dignity that guide our mission each day. We’re truly grateful for His Excellency’s visit, prayers and support of those entrusted to our care.
