Reflecting on an incredible week of growth at Shipt! Last month, we hosted our annual Development Week 2026, where team members came together for an entire week of learning. This year’s focus: Developing our AI fluency. Team members were charged with moving from using AI as just a "tool of efficiency” to embracing it as a strategic thought partner. Highlights of the week included: - Hands-on Building: Workshops on crafting Gems in Gemini - Agile Leadership: Learning to lead through complexity with experiments - Information Mastery: Turning mountains of PDFs into instant insights with NotebookLM - Skills For The Future: Identifying the 5 "Gold Skills" (Discernment, Connection, Adaptability, Literacy and Orchestration) for working with AI The most inspiring part? The conversation hasn't stopped. Team members walked away with new skills, and our shared Slack channel grew by 15% and continues to be a hub for peer-learning, AI wins, fails and experimenting. In an era of rapid change, we believe the best way to support our team isn't just by providing the tools, but by investing in the fluency to master them. At Shipt, we’re not just watching the future happen — we’re making sure our people have the skills to lead it.

With nearly 1 in 7 households across the country experiencing food insecurity, the need for access to fresh, reliable, nutritious food has always been crucial. That’s why Shipt’s Community Impact grants focus on supporting local solutions that strengthen communities and bridge the distance between food and those who need it. 🚌Recently, we got to see our grants in action when Soledad Roybal, Shipt’s Senior Manager of Government Affairs, visited Activate Food Arizona, a mobile market ensuring that residents across Phoenix have access to fresh produce, regardless of where they live. “It was such a powerful opportunity to see firsthand where Shipt’s community support goes and the difference it’s making for their operations. The intense Phoenix heat can be a massive challenge, and the new walk-in fridge that was funded through Shipt’s Community Impact grant is going to change their ability to store and distribute fresh food. That’s just incredible.” Do you know of a mobile market, teaching farm, or food hub that is transforming your community? Applications are now open for our Community Impact grant through June 12th. At Shipt, we believe that every order is an opportunity to make someone’s day. Last month in NYC, we hosted Special Delivery—an immersive experience dedicated to the daily routines and small moments that define our lives. From the moment Sterling K. Brown stepped into the space to the final bag charm being customized, the atmosphere was a beautiful reminder of our role in our member’s lives: delivering more than just groceries, but time and care. Seeing the space come alive with the energy and stories was the highlight of our week. It made it clear that the "why" behind Shipt is stronger than ever. We don't just shop for you; we shop like you, so you can focus on the moments that matter most. ❤️🛒

April was National Volunteer Month, and we recently wrapped up our Shipt Serves Week and a full month of April volunteer efforts! The results are an incredible testament to what happens when a team is empowered to show up for their communities: - 1,009 total volunteer hours logged - 275 team members engaged across the month - 53 different organizations supported worldwide Whether it was through donating life-saving blood, packing and sorting nearly 80,000 meals through local food banks or distributing 1,100 snack and toiletry kits to our unhoused neighbors in Birmingham, the Shipt team leaned in where it mattered most. Our ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) also hosted “power hour” sessions with Lemontree, where team members gathered virtually to connect community members in need to free food resources, proving that virtual volunteering can also have a massive physical impact. In just 137 hours, our team digitally connected 2,316 households, and unlocked $46,000 in support across 1,364 zip codes! As we often say, contributing to our communities isn’t just a “to-do list item,” it’s a core part of our culture. We believe that when we invest in the well-being of our neighbors, we’re building a stronger, more connected future for everyone. A huge thank you to every Shipt team member who donated their time, energy and heart this Shipt Serves Week and National Volunteer Month!

No Order is Ordinary. And last weekend, Shipt took over New York City with Special Delivery, an immersive pop-up experience built around the small but meaningful moments that delivery makes possible. Shared meals. Daily routines. Little acts of care that add up to something bigger. We kicked things off with a VIP opening featuring Shipt partner and Chief Storyteller, Sterling K. Brown; CMO Alia Kemet and Peloton Instructor + VP, Instructor Strategy & Development, TODAY On-Air Contributor and Founder & CEO, Love Squad Ally Love, who led a conversation about how delivery fits into real life, supporting the routines and responsibilities and moments in between. And the care didn't stop there. We're proud to share that Shipt is making its largest-ever single donation to the Feeding America network, our long-time partner in the fight to end hunger. Thanks to everyone who posted with #ShiptGivesBack last weekend. You helped make it our biggest giveback yet. That brings Shipt's total giving to Feeding America to over $2.5M! To us, this is what care beyond the ordinary looks like. #NoOrderIsOrdinary #ShiptGivesBack #SpecialDelivery

Shipt’s operational trifecta of speed, quality and cost-efficiency is helping get packages to guests however they choose to shop. In a recent interview with Supply Chain Dive, Shipt's CEO, Kamau Witherspoon, and Target's SVP of Fulfillment and Last Mile, Daryl Glass, shared how Shipt and the Target enterprise are meeting increased consumer demand for same-day and next-day delivery, while maintaining a high quality of service. Innovative initiatives like Target Last Mile Delivery Direct have moved the starting line closer to the guest, and eliminated traditional logistical bottlenecks — scaling a capability from just six stores to over 100 in less than a year.
