East Africa remains a priority theater for security cooperation and partner force development and Kenya sits at the center of that effort as a key U.S. counterterrorism partner. Chris Forbes, our Director of Advising & Mentoring Services, supporting programs across the State Department’s CT portfolio, is on the ground engaging with partners focused on strengthening operational capability across the region. APA-accredited polygraphers with international experience — this is a very specific one. Sincerus is recruiting a Lead Polygrapher to support a U.S. Department of State INL program focused on vetting Haitian National Police personnel. This is a senior role responsible not just for conducting exams, but leading and coordinating an in-country vetting effort in close partnership with INL and U.S. Embassy Port-au-Prince. Key requirements: • APA or equivalent accredited polygraph training (e.g., NCCA) • 500+ NCCA LEPET polygraph exams (non-negotiable) • 8+ years supporting international polygraphing / vetting programs • Experience working with interpreters in simultaneous translation environments • Ability to operate effectively in austere, overseas conditions • Strong coordination experience with USG stakeholders (INL / Embassy) Role structure: Not a full-time in-country position. This role supports short-term TDY travel to Haiti (minimum quarterly) to conduct and oversee vetting operations. The mission: Supporting U.S. Government efforts to strengthen the integrity and capability of the Haitian National Police through rigorous vetting and polygraph oversight.
