Incredible craftsmanship, 14 stories up in downtown Richmond. Working on historic buildings can be challenging, but we are proud to be part of continuing the work begun over 120 years ago. #rva

This past weekend, I lost one of the greatest people I’ve ever had the privilege of hiring, and calling a friend, Andy Anderson. Andy joined our team nearly seven years ago to lead our HVAC department, and over that time helped grow the division by nearly 3,000%. But numbers were never what defined Andy. What defined him was his heart, his work ethic, and most of all, his family. Andy was a devoted husband and father to four incredible, energetic kids. No matter how busy life got, he never missed an event and never passed up the chance to coach one of their teams. He was deeply proud of his wife, a strong and loving woman, and all he ever wanted was to support her in everything she dreamed of doing. Andy carried a lot, work, family, responsibility and somehow made it all look effortless. He showed up fully, gave everything he had, and never asked for anything in return. He was one of the most selfless people I’ve ever known. When I think of Andy, I will always remember this face in the picture. Me sitting in his office across his desk in the early mornings, talking about work, life, and whatever else was on our minds, always finding humor even when things were tough. What began as an employer–employee relationship turned into a friendship, and I’m grateful we got to build something meaningful together. I’ll end this the way Andy always did. He hated goodbyes. On the phone or in person, he would never say goodbye, he would simply say, “I'll talk to you shortly.” God bless the Anderson family in this difficult time. Andy, you will be missed more than words can express. I'll talk to you shortly.

When you walk into a 500,000 sq ft warehouse, it might feel empty...but it's all in the walls. #commercialplumbing #rva
