We're thrilled to announce an exciting project win for Suffolk's West Region: the California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo Student Housing Program, a transformative, eight-year initiative to expand on-campus housing. The multi-phase program will deliver 4,200 new beds across multiple sites on campus and includes both the construction of new modular student housing — designed for speed, efficiency, and cost certainty. Suffolk will also renovate existing red brick residence halls, modernizing historic facilities to meet today’s standards while preserving their character. Suffolk is delivering this program through an integrated project delivery design-build plan that combines on-site construction with embedded modular manufacturing partnerships, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the project. This project's modular approach marks a first not just for Cal Poly, but for the entire California State University system. Steinberg Hart

Suffolk’s Florida Gulf Coast region was proud to celebrate the grand opening of the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort. Our team managed the construction of the 220-room luxury hotel portion of this project, including 57 suites and the signature Sabal Suite, the resort’s most exclusive accommodation. Designed to deliver an unparalleled guest experience, the resort features indoor and outdoor dining venues, elegant ballrooms and event spaces, resort-style pools and terraces, and a recreation facility. Thoughtfully designed as a modern tribute to the original hotel, it blends coastal architecture with contemporary luxury, honoring the site’s history while creating a new iconic destination. This milestone reflects the hard work and collaboration of our team and partners. We were proud to help bring this landmark project to life on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Suffolk Northeast recently partnered with Arden Building Companies on our Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School project to host a meaningful standdown focused on mental health, suicide awareness, substance use, and support resources for both union and non-union workers. Through Building Futures | Apprenticeship RI, the team brought members of the trades together to have honest conversations, share personal experiences, learn from one another, and better understand the tools and resources available to support themselves and their peers. As part of the standdown, the team gathered for breakfast and an open Q&A, reinforcing that safety goes beyond the jobsite. As K-12 builders, we’re committed to more than the day-to-day work and the bigger picture of looking out for one another and strengthening our community.

Once complete, the Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas will show sweeping scenery from its 171 units. For now, though, our builders are creating some epic views. They're constructing two towers in Henderson, Nev., which will offer luxury living just south of the Strip. We're thrilled to share that our Suffolk West Palm Beach team will manage the renovation and revitalization of the Esther B. O’Keeffe and Rovensky buildings on The Society of the Four Arts campus in Palm Beach. New York-based architect Beyer Blinder Belle, in collaboration with local architect Spina O'Rourke + Partners, designed this project, which includes historical preservation of the building envelope and the complete replacement of the structural systems and MEP components. The renewed facilities will house a performance theater, circa 650-seat auditorium, art galleries, administrative offices, a children’s library, and an executive boardroom — spaces designed to expand the Society’s cultural and educational reach. Set in one of the island's most prominent locations, the restoration marks one of Palm Beach's most important and high-profile projects, preserving a cherished landmark while preparing it for future generations. Thank you to the Society of the Four Arts for this opportunity, and we look forward to delivering this project to the community.

Our Suffolk West Palm Beach team and Aviation & Transportation Center of Excellence are making strong progress on the Concourse B Expansion at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The project has reached several key milestones, with structural steel, slab on grade, and all underground utilities substantially complete. The team has officially turned over the Gate B7 passenger boarding bridge, and the roof has begun. Once complete, this expansion will add new gates, modern amenities and upgraded concessions to meet growing passenger demand at the airport. Suffolk looks forward to continued momentum on this project, in partnership with Palm Beach County Department of Airports and RS&H.

Our trades are the backbone of our projects. They deserve recognition for the grit, skill, and commitment they bring to the site every day. At our Miami hotel and residences project with OKO Group, we wanted to take a moment to give them the recognition they didn’t ask for, but have earned time and again. Thank you to the OKO Group team for collaborating with us on this special event, and to every one of our trade partners working on this project and countless others across the country. Iconic buildings like this one rise because of you.

We’re honored to see The New York Times spotlight South Station Tower as an example of how the Boston skyline is transforming while honoring its past. Our Northeast team was proud to tackle one of the most technically demanding projects in the region and deliver this landmark development. Building a 51-story tower above one of the busiest transit hubs in the Northeast required extraordinary engineering, close coordination with multiple agencies, and round-the-clock work to keep tens of thousands of daily commuters moving without disruption. From navigating active rail lines to delivering a cantilevered structure supported by eight super columns, this project showcases what our teams can achieve when urban construction experience meets innovation and collaboration. We're seeing on projects across the country how sustainability and commissioning go hand in hand. A building could have the most efficiently designed system available, but it needs to operate properly to realize all the benefits. Project Executive Brian Morrissey is installing one of these novel systems — air source heat pumps — for a healthcare client in New York. Check out this article to learn more about the system benefits and how the team is bringing them online: https://lnkd.in/dwePNpzq
