Shareholders' 2016 securities class action alleged that ExxonMobil Corp., former CEO Rex W. Tillerson, CFO Andrew P. Swiger and Controller David S. Rosenthal made materially false or misleading statements that artificially inflated the company's stock price. The Latham & Watkins team representing ExxonMobil and its officers was led by Scott Thomas, Heather Waller, Sarah Tomkowiak and Taz Jones, together with co-counsel at King & Spalding and Paul Weiss, and local counsel from Haynes Boone.
