A cancer diagnosis affects more than the body — it touches every part of who you are. Fear. Uncertainty. Grief. Exhaustion. These feelings are real, they are valid, and you are not alone in them. At Texas Oncology, we believe that healing the whole person matters just as much as treating the disease. That's why we offer support services designed to carry you and your loved ones through every stage of this journey — emotionally, mentally, and beyond. This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember: asking for help is not weakness. It is one of the bravest things you can do. Speak with your care team or visit texasoncology.com to learn more about our patient support resources. 💚 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #CancerAndMentalHealth #OncologySupport #YouAreNotAlone #TexasOncology #CancerCare #PatientSupport

Erik Pearson was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer, faced a recurrence, and endured years of treatment. When chemotherapy was no longer effective, he turned to clinical trials — and found new hope. After advocating for himself with his care team, Erik was approved for an immunotherapy clinical trial at Texas Oncology. A higher-than-average percentage of participants were responding well to treatment — and Erik was among them. "I'm able to live more normally," he shared. Erik's journey is a testament to the power of patient advocacy, compassionate care, and the expanding possibilities of oncology research. At Texas Oncology, clinical trials are not a last resort — they are a doorway to what comes next. Texas Oncology was proud to join Novartis US at the groundbreaking of their new radioligand therapy (RLT) manufacturing facility in Denton, TX — represented by executive vice president, Debra Patt, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, and radiation oncologist Michael Herman, M.D. RLT delivers treatment directly to cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue — and having a manufacturing hub right here in Texas means patients across the southern U.S. get faster, more reliable access to these therapies. Texas Oncology currently offers radiopharmaceutical treatment at 11 sites statewide, with four more on the way by end of year — including Denton. Together with Novartis, we're putting patients first. 💙 Watch and read more here: https://lnkd.in/gPkD7d5b
