Something we've been building toward for a long time is finally here. Introducing Music Community Foundation: a national hub for artist-led philanthropy, powered by Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. For three decades, we've worked alongside artists and their teams to help turn generosity into real, lasting impact. Now that work has a name, a home, and an open door for artists, managers, and industry partners ready to take their giving further. Visit https://lnkd.in/e3_MNhci to browse artist funds, learn more about what MCF offers, and explore what the music community has built together. What does it look like when a community truly shows up for its neighbors? That's the question at the heart of Our Place Nashville's work. Led by Executive Director Jordan Collins, Our Place Nashville creates a life that feels like home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, one relationship, one routine, one moment of belonging at a time. Our Press Forward Community Survey is live and only takes five minutes! Why take it? Local information shapes everyday decisions, often more than we realize. When a school rezones a neighborhood, when a clinic opens, when severe weather hits, local news is how people know what to do and where to go. But that only works if the information is actually reaching people. Press Forward Middle Tennessee is a regional effort to make sure it does, across all 40 counties, urban and rural alike. From May 1 - May 31, we're inviting residents to take a short, 5-minute survey about how they get local news, what they trust, and where gaps exist. The goal is to listen before we act. Take the survey at https://lnkd.in/e2bxS47v. Available in multiple languages. This effort is made possible by Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and The Healing Trust. Survey facilitated by The Sycamore Institute. #pressforward #localnewsisapublicgood

Behind every strong local news initiative are people who understand that information is infrastructure. The final members of our steering committee bring expertise in philanthropy, communications, community health, and equitable giving. They see local news not as an industry to be saved, but as a public good worth investing in. We're grateful to every member of this committee for helping build something to keep Middle Tennesseans connected to the information to stay connected to what's happening in their own backyards.
