The brick Victorian mansion is surrounded by a 25-acre “park” (originally 125 acres) boasting more than 100 species of trees, numerous varieties of flowers, a rose garden, an arbor, and walking paths. About us
Freedom of the press and humanity are the foundation of The Epoch Times. The Epoch Times was born out of a great need to provide uncensored news to a people immersed in propaganda and censorship in China. Having witnessed events like the Tiananmen Square massacre and the persecution of the spiritual group Falun Gong, and at great risk to themselves and their loved ones, a group of Chinese Americans started publishing The Epoch Times in the Chinese language in the United States. When we launched in 2000, we had reporters and editors in China; they were soon arrested, and some suffered severe torture. To this day, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been relentless in its efforts to assault our operations and stop us from pursuing our mission—including by ransacking our offices, attacking our websites, and setting our printing press on fire in Hong Kong. In English, our first edition was published online in 2003, followed by the first print edition in 2004. Our beginnings have instilled in Epoch Times staff an unwavering commitment to integrity, truthfulness in reporting, and respect for human rights and freedom. As an independent media organization, The Epoch Times is free from the influence of any government, corporation, or political party. Our aim is to give you the information you need to make up your own mind. We remain committed to our founding mission to expose the CCP’s human rights abuses in China and its ongoing campaign to subvert Western societies and fundamental freedoms and values.

Does Magnesium Help With Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia is a highly disabling condition that is very hard to treat. We often refer to fibromyalgia as chronic pain and fatigue. However, beyond body pains and persistent fatigue, patients also experience a complex range of symptoms, including non-restorative sleep, mental fog, and so much more. In recent years, however, a new treatment has appeared on the horizon, and its magnesium. Read more about it: https://lnkd.in/eTnz7_y3

Of the 56 delegates who signed the Declaration of Independence, two were brothers. Americans don’t just pay more for prescription drugs—we may be subsidizing the rest of the world. In the U.S., drug prices are often 2 to 4 times higher than in countries like Germany, United Kingdom, and Canada—despite buying the same medications. It’s not about supply and demand either: Americans account for a massive share of global pharmaceutical sales, yet don’t get lower prices. Instead, the U.S. market generates roughly half of the industry’s global profits while representing only about 5% of the world’s population. Those higher prices are often justified as covering research and development costs—while consumers in other countries pay closer to the cost of manufacturing. In “Gentlemen Revolutionaries,” a review of Gordon Wood’s “Revolutionary Characters,” legal scholar Peter Berkowitz expanded on Adams’s thought. He wrote, “Unlike aristocrats in the old world, the gentleman in America was defined not by lineage and inherited goods, but rather by the qualities he exhibited and the character he cultivated.” Read more (no sign up necessary): https://lnkd.in/egfxBCvN
