Energy storage is quickly moving from pilot projects to real infrastructure decisions. Electric cooperatives and municipal utilities are improving reliability, managing costs and supporting long-term system planning by integrating energy storage into broader power delivery strategies from the start. Before selecting a battery storage system, utilities need to define the use case, coordinate across engineering and operations, right-size the project and plan for safety, maintenance and future expansion. From intern to full-time Event Specialist, Stella Humberg’s Haskell journey has come full circle. Stella started with Haskell as a Corporate Marketing intern in 2022. Today, she helps bring events to life from months of planning and vendor coordination to day-of details like guest experience, accessibility, wayfinding and keeping the fun on schedule. At the Wasatch Curling Invitational supporting Utah’s National Ability Center, Stella gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create meaningful moments for Haskell’s clients, partners and vendors. Her internship helped her build relationships, confidence and a path to the career she has now. We’re proud to have you on the team, Stella! Schedule certainty in data center delivery is established long before construction begins. Early decisions determine whether a project stays on track or falls behind. At Haskell, stakeholders align early in mission critical projects. During preconstruction, they define scope, sequencing and risk mitigation to set a clear path forward. Across project sites nationwide, integrated design-build delivery connects design, procurement, utilities coordination, commissioning and off-site prefabrication into a single coordinated strategy. By engaging early and making decisions in real time, teams address complexity before they reach the field. This approach reduces uncertainty during construction and supports more predictable execution. The goal is to help clients who depend on speed to market and operational readiness from Day 1. When planning, engineering and construction teams operate in alignment, projects are better positioned to meet schedule and performance expectations. Results include: 🔹Greater predictability 🔹Smoother execution 🔹Speed to market Contact us to learn how early alignment and integrated delivery can support your next mission critical project: https://lnkd.in/eu5bbUUM Ben Meurer, Michael Woods, John Brendel, Michael Dwight, Milad Farahani, Christopher Gibson #DataCenters #MissionCritical #Construction #DesignBuild #Prefabrication #Haskell #ModularDataCenters #HaskellAEC

Each week, Haskell’s Christopher Flagg, VP and AE Operations Principal, and Geoff Parker, Lead Architect in our Oklahoma City office, lead virtual sketch sessions that center on an architectural subject that participants observe, learn about and sketch for one hour. “It’s a fun way to break up the workday,” Flagg said. “The chance to bring everyone together during the lunch hour to practice the art of observation through sketching enhances our design skills and strengthens our creative culture.” Subjects range from historic landmarks to favorite travel destinations and even the Seven Wonders of the World. Last week, the subject was the winner of Haskell’s 2025 Architectural Project of the Year, the Jacksonville University Athletic Complex. The facility features an amenity building with smart, efficient systems, a resort-style pool with an expansive deck, NCAA volleyball courts and inviting collaboration areas. The project was delivered through a Public-Private Partnership (P3) and in conjunction with Sustainability Partners. “This achievement reflects the strength of a multidisciplinary team bringing diverse expertise to a small but very complex project,” Design Manager Nihal Alwakeel said. “The team successfully navigated landscape, civil and program challenges while refining the design to align with the client’s budget, without compromising the overall vision." Meet Luke Gilsdorf, a Spring 2026 Marketing Intern on Haskell’s Proposal Content Team. A Creative Writing graduate from Florida State University, he brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to content development. During his internship, Luke gained experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. “I feel like I’ve developed a stronger appreciation for collaboration and responding to feedback,” he said. “I’ve also learned a lot about work-life balance and time management.” Following his internship, Luke accepted a full-time position with Haskell’s Aviation and Aerospace team, an exciting next step as he continues to grow his career with us. Each year, hundreds of Haskell interns gain hands-on and cultural experience and many return to launch their careers here. Some careers begin with a plan. Tina Sanchez’s began with a teacher. As a ninth-grader in Jacksonville, Tina didn’t see herself as a “math person.” Then Mr. Gerding changed everything. He turned algebra into a challenge — part puzzle, part competition — and that captivated and motivated her. That spark carried Tina to the University of North Florida and an engineering degree. In 1998, she joined Haskell. Nearly three decades later, she’s now a Regional Director of Design and one of Haskell’s Q1 2026 Living the Values Award winners. Throughout her career, Tina has helped lead complex, meaningful projects, including proton therapy facilities in San Diego and Baltimore. But colleagues say her biggest impact is how she supports people — empowering teams, mentoring others and creating an environment rooted in collaboration and trust. Read her story: https://lnkd.in/eRmRBM8Y Yovannia Gamez , Peter Skirbst,
