Talk about a comeback story! ⭕️🙌 Former football wide receiver Dee Miller battled injuries throughout his career. After trying numerous treatments to relieve constant pain without success, he finally sought help. “I delayed treatment and kept thinking it would get better.” Another Buckeye encouraged him to see an orthopedic surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where a same-day hip replacement changed his life. Now, he’s back to enjoying time with family and getting in the occasional round of golf pain-free. 🏈⛳️

"Some discoveries change the way we view the human body.” Loved seeing this guest story in the The New York Times by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s very own Dr. Avraham Cooper about fascinating new research on the interstitium, the hidden pathways inside our bodies. The nation pays attention to innovative Ohio State faculty! https://lnkd.in/eBdV2Cpi

I recently had my first opportunity to see the new OSU Outpatient Care Powell, and I am beyond excited for our teams and patients to experience it. It’s an incredible environment that truly reflects the care and commitment behind everything we do. I couldn’t be more impressed by the hard work, collaboration, and dedication that made it possible. From planning to execution, this team continues to raise the bar. Congratulations to everyone who played a role in bringing this vision to life—I’m looking forward to all that’s ahead! #Teamwork #Growth #NewBeginnings

Dr. Benjamin Segal, director of the Neuroscience Research Institute at #OSUWexMed, is leading initiatives that aim to dissolve boundaries between disciplines in translational neuroscience and accelerate the movement of discoveries from laboratory benches to clinical application. Within this culture, early-career investigators are pursuing studies that aim to impact treatment in the foreseeable future.

As Nurses week comes to an end for 2026, I received THE BEST gift on today! This morning, I was presented with the Lucy Schneiter Scholarship, a memorial scholarship given by the family through my job The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Typically they give out 3; however, the niece and the family decided I deserved the entire scholarship!!! This means so very much to me. I am honored, elated, appreciative, and oh so blessed to have received this award! I do not take it lightly and am still in awe. As I embark on my journey to continue my education, I am deeply appreciative of the means to assist me in doing so! Thank you so much to ALL involved 🫶🏽

Walked in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure today with some of the OSU Imaging team. 💗 We walked for our director & breast cancer survivor, Amy Gallatin MSRT(R)(MR)(CT), for those still fighting, for the survivors, and for the loved ones we’ve lost along the way. A lot of strength, support, hope, and remembrance packed into one morning. Together we are stronger than breast cancer! Friendly reminder to schedule your mammogram...and I know a pretty great place to schedule yours: the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center. 🌺 https://lnkd.in/gGqmpCK2 Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Findings from a study led by researchers at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute support a potential new target for therapy that could help people overcome immunotherapy resistance in small-cell lung cancer, one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-treat cancers.
