Most physical therapists are told its patient care 40hours/week or leave the profession. You have to choose between your passion vs your payceck. Your job vs your health. Rachel Stoffregen is the latest reason we don't believe in that binary. She joined the [P]rehab team this month in a 50/50 role. Half her week treating patients in our Culver City clinic Prehab Physical Therapy. And the other half her week as a clinical content educator at Prehab, helping shape the education the [P]rehab community sees. Physical therapists develop some of the most unique and underrated skills that translate well beyond the four walls of the clinic. We're trained to make critical decisions with incomplete information, communicate complex ideas to people in pain, build trust, motivate people to commit to plans that are uncomfortable. That skill set transfers directly to building products, platforms, content, and companies. There's an entire health tech ecosystem developing right now that needs more of us in it. ESPECIALLY in the MSK and prevention space. We need more leaders who actually understand the body, the patient journey, and the (broken) healthcare system. Prehab is built to be that kind of place. Somewhere a PT can flex skills that don't fit cleanly into either world. Welcome to the team, Rachel!

Eight years ago we started Prehab with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to trusted, expert-level guidance for their movement health without waiting in line or paying out of pocket for a specialist. Over those eight years we've built over 4,000 exercise videos, 65+ programs, and 200+ workouts, all created by our amazing team of Doctors of Physical Therapy. But the challenge was always the same. Users had access to all of this content, but still had to figure out what was most relevant to them on their own. For the past year and a half, our team has been deep in #AI. Not just for our products, but for everything. Internal tooling, workflows, personal projects. I even built a caretaking app for my dad! Our team has been building AI-powered systems for how we communicate, how we track sales, how we operate. We've been tinkering constantly, learning what actually works and what doesn't. Prehab Coach is where all of that learning comes together. It's our first AI-powered feature, and it lives right on the home screen of the app. It takes everything we've built over eight years and puts an intelligent layer on top that meets each person where they are. Your profile, your activity, your goals. It adapts in real time as you log workouts and progress through programs. This is just the beginning. Prehab Coach is live now on iOS and Android. Did you know we have an HEP builder? And it just got a facelift. After building a 3M+ follower community around movement and rehab content, we've spent the last several years developing the clinical platform behind it. Today, we're marking that evolution with a new name: The Prehab Exercise Library is now Prehab Professional. For current users: Everything you know and love is still here. Your login, programs, and workflows are exactly the same, but the interface is now faster and more intuitive (navigate to programs/templates via tabs at the top of the builder). Plus, your patients can now access their programs directly through the Prehab consumer app via our new integrated patient portal. For PTs and clinic owners who are tired of patients not doing their HEP correctly: You know the cycle. You send home exercises. Patient doesn't understand the cues. They compensate. They don't see progress. They stop doing them altogether. You're back at square one. Prehab Professional solves this. Every video in our 4K+ library is filmed and cued by Doctors of Physical Therapy. Our videos are tutorial-style with comprehensive auditory, visual, and written instructions so patients always know how to move purposefully at home. When patients actually understand what to do, they do it. Better adherence = better outcomes = fewer setbacks. What makes it different: • Build custom programs in minutes from one trusted platform (no more piecing together from outdated software) • Support the full plan of care from rehab → prehab → performance with microprogressions that reflect how you actually treat • Manage your entire caseload from one streamlined dashboard See how Prehab Professional can work for your practice: https://lnkd.in/gBfYEPhi

Today we officially launched the rebuilt Prehab Professional platform! It's our first major update since 2019 and it's designed around a simple idea: the best clinical tool is one your patients already use. 📲 When we originally built Prehab Professional 7 years ago, we were a content brand pretending to be a software company. The product worked, but it was held together with literal duct tape. Somehow, 6,000 clinicians used it anyway. For years, we kept saying we'll rebuild it "next quarter." Meanwhile our consumer app got all the attention and clinical product sat there collecting dust in the corner of our roadmap. What finally changed? We started hearing from patients. Thousands of them coming through our consumer app each month looking for clinical care. And there was nowhere connected to send them. This gap became impossible to ignore. So we rebuilt our entire tech stack from scratch. New program builder. Intelligent search. Bulk patient management. An integrated portal where patients access their programs through the same Prehab app they already use. This is just the beginning of the connected Prehab ecosystem 😊 I firmly believe the future of physical therapy isn't just clinical or just consumer. It's hybrid. And the companies that win will be the ones that started by earning patient trust first. VERY grateful for the team that made this happen and the clinicians who stuck with us through the duct-tape years!! We're growing the team! Kyle joined us a few months ago and his assimilated into our culture flawlessly. Not because he's solid clinician (though he is), but because of why he came to us in the first place. He didn't want "more challenging cases" or to "work with higher level athletes." He wanted to be challenged in ways most PTs never get the opportunity to be. Product development. Community building. Business operations. Content creation. Building out hiring and training SOPs. This is what Kyle signed up for. I tell every candidate the same thing: what you come here to do and what the job description says will look completely different six months from now. This scares some people. And that's fine. We're not "stable" in the sense that you'll know exactly what you're doing each quarter. We're dynamically adapting. We're a startup. What everyone ends up doing looks nothing like what was on the flyer. That's exactly what Kyle was looking for. You're a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You've spent years mastering movement science, pain mechanisms, exercise prescription, behavior change. Those skills don't just live in the treatment room. Kyle gets to use his clinical expertise to impact physical therapy globally at Prehab AND with the patients he sees face-to-face at Prehab Physical Therapy. If you're a PT who wants your skills used in ways that go beyond the clinic walls and you want to help shape the future of what physical therapy can be - let's talk! Welcome to the team Kyle Flynn PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS!

Every once in a while, a review reminds me why we started Prehab in the first place. So much of the musculoskeletal pain people experience isn’t due to a bad knee or simply 'old age' - it’s due to a lack of preparation. And more often than not, that lack of preparation comes from a lack of understanding on how to best take care of your body. That’s where healthcare continues to fail. We’ve built a system that is reactive instead of proactive. We "treat" vs "educate". And this often leave people feeling like passengers in their own health journey, rather the an active participant. What this review reinforces for me is that education is the unlock. And it's the reason we started Prehab over 10 years ago. When people understand how their bodies work, what their lab results mean, and how to prepare their systems for the demands of daily life...everything changes. Pain becomes something to manage intelligently, not fear. Movement becomes something to build toward, not avoid. Health becomes something you work on daily, not something that randomly happens to you. That’s why I’m so excited about where consumer interest in longevity and health optimization is heading. And equally excited about the technological advances that allow AI to act as a context layer, helping people actually make sense of their own health data instead of being overwhelmed by it. This is how we move forward: ✅ Education over dependence. ✅ Preparation over reaction. ✅ Understanding over fear. Grateful for every user who trusts us with their journey, and energized by what’s possible when people are empowered to take control of their own health!!
