We had a great time at the Tierra Encantada Conference in Minneapolis last week! It was exciting to connect with the Tierra team, hear more about the incredible growth ahead, and spend time with so many passionate leaders in early education. One highlight was seeing our own VP of Sales & Marketing, Ryan Murray, speak on the vendor panel, Winning in Your First 180 Days, presented by LineLeader. We loved being part of the conversation around supporting successful onboarding and long-term growth for childcare organizations. We also loved seeing new and familiar faces throughout the event. Our brand was founded by a mother of two who wanted more for her own children’s care, and that perspective continues to guide everything we do. It inspires the purpose and intention behind how our team members show up, support our franchise partners, and define quality across our centers. The insight our leaders bring as both mothers and professionals helps shape our values and strengthens our commitment to delivering an exceptional early education experience for the families and communities we serve.

We’re excited to officially welcome Kristie Skluzacek as Chief Financial Officer at Tierra Encantada! In just a few months, her impact has already been felt across our teams. She's strengthened processes and enhanced the experience we provide to families in billing and financial operations. Kristie brings over 25 years of experience leading financial strategy, operations, and business growth across complex, multi-unit organizations. She is known for building strong partnerships, driving disciplined performance, and identifying opportunities that support long-term success. Her global perspective and deep expertise in strategic planning, financial leadership, and data-driven decision-making are invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our impact. Tierra Encantada is off to a strong start in 2026 with our first franchise agreement in Washington, the opening of three new locations, and continued investment in leadership to support long-term growth and success.
