🌍 Leadership in a constantly evolving world At the 37th Leadership Conference of EASE Ένωση Ανωτάτων Στελεχών Επιχειρήσεων- ΕΑΣΕ, Dimitri Papalexopoulos, Chair of TITAN Group, engaged in a discussion with Ηaridimos Tsoukas on the challenges of leadership in today’s uncertain environment. Drawing on his personal journey and TITAN’s evolution —a company with more than 120 years of history— he highlighted how the 1980s marked a turning point, leading to the organization’s international #expansion, driven both by the limitations of the Greek market and the need for #growth. In a highly cyclical industry, as he noted, it is crucial to distinguish between what is a temporary cycle and what is a long-term trend — and to manage the former while strategically investing in the latter. He also referred to the resilience strategies TITAN adopted during periods of crisis, including cost reduction - always with a human approach - asset divestments, and investment adjustments, guided by the principle of preparing for adverse scenarios while remaining ready to capture #opportunities in positive ones. Emphasis was placed on #AI as a high-return investment, with CemAI - Cement Intelligence as a key example, as well as on collaboration with #startups and universities to accelerate #innovation. In the field of #decarbonization, he underscored the importance of trust with local #communities, transparency, and governance mechanisms that ensure continuity over time. Amid the cement industry’s major shifts driven by decarbonization, AI, and decommoditization, he also spoke about the deliberate #leadership transition to support the Group’s #transformation during a phase of strong growth. This has led to a more internationalized, multinational organization, while preserving the #values and the #culture. Through his personal example, Dimitri Papalexopoulos approaches leadership as a continuous process of evolution, adaptation, and learning. Guided by #sustainability and long-term continuity for future generations, he advocates for a model of leadership that combines pragmatism with accountability. #TITANGroup #TITANForward

Across the regions where we operate, we continuously invest in #innovation and new technologies to drive industrial #decarbonization at scale in line with our #TITANForward2029 strategy. A major step forward in this journey comes from Titan Albania, with the official launch of a €4 million New Tertiary Air Duct (TAD) project—the plant’s largest investment since its start-up in 2010. This project strengthens industrial performance while accelerating our path toward lower-carbon operations. It delivers greater process stability, optimized gas flow and improved efficiency, increased potential for alternative fuel utilization and reduced energy intensity and CO₂ emissions. The investment is part of the Joint Declaration and Commitment TITAN Group signed together with the Republic of Albania and the European Commission, during the EU–Western Balkans Investment Forum hosted in Tirana in October 2025, reinforcing its active role in supporting Albania’s #EU accession process. This achievement is the result of close #collaboration between the TITAN Albania team and our Group’s Engineering, Technology, Projects, Process, and Decarbonization teams. Together, we are turning innovation into measurable #impact! #TITANGroup #TITANForward #sustainablegrowth

How can Greek companies effectively compete at the international level? Are there any proven models of #extroversion and success factors? And how are these underpinned by #digital #technology? These were the overarching questions that Marcel Cobuz, Chair of TITAN Group Executive Committee, addressed during the “Global Ambitions: Expanding Business Beyond Borders” panel discussion, held as part of Delphi Economic Forum. Marcel’s message was clear: Global ambition today is no longer about exporting products — it’s about exporting a model of #excellence. TITAN’s #transformation from a traditional cement manufacturer into a global advanced materials and technology player reflects this shift, which is built on four key pillars: 🔹 Local empowerment with global standards Success in international markets starts with treating each business as truly local — empowering local teams, building strong #customer relationships, and embedding accountability, while ensuring rigorous standards in capital allocation, quality, and execution. 🔹 Building leadership positions through integration and brands TITAN focuses on vertical integration and strong end-to-end market presence, supported by consistent global brands that reinforce trust, reliability, and performance across geographies. 🔹 Innovation flowing in all directions From low-carbon materials in the U.S. to large-scale carbon capture in Europe, TITAN leverages its global footprint to develop, scale, and redeploy technologies across markets — creating a powerful competitive edge. 🔹 Culture as the ultimate glue Across continents, a shared #culture, rooted in shared values, unites diverse operations and ensures alignment in execution. Commenting on #AI as a source of competitive advantage, Marcel highlighted the importance of staying intentionally “uncomfortable” to accelerate learning. TITAN’s journey — from deploying AI in operations to commercializing it through CemAI - Cement Intelligence and investing via its venture arm — shows how industrial players can turn AI from a tool into a true value generator. His takeaway: 👉 Don’t wait for perfect conditions or regulations. Experiment, scale fast, and build capabilities that you can eventually offer to the market. A powerful reminder that global growth today is as much about mindset and adaptability as it is about #strategy. #TITANGroup #TITANForward #DelphiForum #Leadership
