Tower recently participated in Columbia University Mathematics of Finance (MAFN) Fall Practitioner Seminar, where Ramit Sawhney, Global Head of Core AI and ML, discussed the evolving role of AI agents and multi-agent systems in quantitative finance. The session explored how large language models are moving beyond passive prediction toward more active, agent-based approaches that support research, trading, and engineering workflows — along with the importance of robustness, transparency, and responsible deployment. We appreciated the opportunity to engage with Columbia’s academic community and to contribute to conversations shaping the future of quantitative finance. 2025 was a year to remember for Tower. Whether it was moving into our new NYC headquarters, making a difference in our communities, or celebrating our successes along the way, we strengthened the culture that has powered Tower for more than 25 years. Last month, our Shanghai office kept Tower’s long-term participation in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge going strong, joining thousands of runners from companies across the city for the 3.5-mile event. It’s always energizing to see our teams participate in an initiative that blends teamwork, friendly competition, and wellness — and Shanghai delivered an excellent showing. A festive finish to 2025 at Tower. December is always a special month across Tower’s global offices, and this year’s holiday parties were no exception. Across the globe, our teams came together to close out the year with good company, seasonal treats, and the kinds of conversations that only happen when you step away from the day-to-day and take the time to celebrate. These events are a chance to not just celebrate the work we’ve done and the milestones we’ve hit, but also to recognize the people behind them. Tower's culture is built on collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and a shared commitment to excellence. You feel that most clearly when everyone is in the same room. As we wrap up 2025, we’re grateful for a year of growth, for the talent of our team, and for the drive that defines our teams worldwide. Tower was proud to sponsor and attend McGill CodeJam Hackathon last month. Tower has partnered with Sense International India to support children with deafblindness and multiple disabilities. Through this initiative, we are providing customized assistive devices to 10 children in Sanand, Gujarat, helping improve their cognitive abilities, communication skills and overall quality of life. Continuing this effort, colleagues at our GIFT City office took part in a hands-on activity to create Tactile Learning Materials for children and adults with deafblindness.
