Grateful for an incredible #PGAWeek here in Philadelphia! Our students had an unforgettable experience—from Career Connected Day with PGA of America at Aronimink Golf Club to opportunities throughout the tournament week. Huge thanks to Brandywine Realty Trust for generously providing hospitality tickets, giving our kids the chance to experience the event up close and feel truly part of the action. We were also thrilled to have Paige Spiranac visit and tour the TGR Learning Lab with our students, and to welcome Kira Dixon, who spent time touring and filming at the Lab—such exciting moments that made an already special week even more memorable. One of the standout highlights was hearing student voices on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, thanks to Brian Katrick where young people from schools across the city including Bonner and Prendie, West Philly, Upper Darby, Merion Mercy Academy, SLA Beeber, and West Catholic represented Philly with pride and shared their perspectives. Beyond the galleries, students had a ball exploring everything that brings the game to life—merchandising, cutting-edge golf technology, media, and the many career pathways connected to the sport. It was a busy, energizing week full of new experiences and inspiration. Colonial Country Club has completed a comprehensive, multi-million-dollar renovation of its amenities, including the golf shop, cart barn, pool area, and community center. This project follows the recent $9 million golf course renovation, further elevating the member experience at the club.   The golf shop underwent a complete remodel, focusing on offering quality apparel and goods at member-friendly prices. The cart barn was rebuilt and expanded, reopening with a new, upgraded fleet of carts; a new storage mezzanine with double the bag storage capacity; a club fitting room; additional merchandise storage and a staff break room. The wellness center now features additional meeting spaces, a revamped selection of athletic wear, new gym equipment, an enhanced sound system, acoustic paneling in fitness areas, complimentary daily coffee and fruit stations, and digital signage. The pool deck has been remodeled to include weekend DJ entertainment, chef-attended grills, and drink specials. Congratulations to Cache Creek Casino Resort and Yocha Dehe Golf Club on the 4th annual, Cache Creek Charity Tournament, benefiting UC Davis Children’s Hospital and Meals on Wheels Yolo County. A good time was had by all. While the final tally will be published soon, William Foust , Director of Golf & Hospitality, closed the event with confidence that over $100,000 was raised today for these worthy causes. Spotted at the PGA Championship, Team Troon's Matt Fitzpatrick custom major bag. This stunning bag embraces the “City of Brotherly Love’s” iconic imagery of the Liberty Bell and other stylizations. Below the primary Troon logo is the statement/nod to Troon being one of the top employers of P.G.A Professionals (THANK YOU to all of the P.G.A Professionals that make up the World of Troon). On the ball pocket is the logo of nearby Cobbs Creek. The Cobbs Creek Foundation recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Lincoln Financial Center (that features a 68 bay Toptracer powered practice facility, Little Horse Tavern, event space, golf retail shop and more). This is the centerpiece to the campus that includes a The Q School, a nine hole TGR Design Short Course, the second TGR Learning Lab in the country (that has already provided education/resources to 7000 students in the community) and will be home to a Hanse/Wagner restoration of Olde Course in late 2027.
