Tap into our pool of qualified and trained tutors who work with us during Fall and Spring to help you out this summer! Our program is adaptable to many different learning environments, and can be implemented with diverse student populations. As a peek of what our tutors are capable of, check out some awesome data from a few of our schools below!

    • Three graphs are shown with student success data: First, a bar graph showing 5 school districts from 24-25 school year with an average of 19.6% higher post-test scores compared to pre-test. Second, a line graph showing three months of pre and post test data from a high school in Spring 2026 of 3.58% in Month 1, 6.45% in Month 2, and 8.14% in Month 3. Third, a table shows 5 elementary schools' ELA and Math average increases in pre test compared to post test, between 10.5% and 41.73% increases.

It’s officially the end of my time with Tutor Me Education! The school year is coming to an end, and I could not be more grateful for this position and my amazing team + students. Seeing my students’ reading and math skills progress over this past semester has been extremely rewarding. Every single one of my students’ test scores improved over the semester! I am extremely proud of them and their consistency, perseverance, and kindness throughout our sessions. I could not have had a successful semester without my amazing team: Lilia Olsen (Lead Tutor), Karla Guzman, and Cynthia Newman. The BIGGEST thanks to our lead teacher Ms. Bagby who imparted endless wisdom and help to all of us. I will dearly miss this team and my students, and can’t wait to see all of the amazing things they do!

  • As many of our schools’ tutoring programs are getting close to wrapping up, we’ve been hard at work collecting data on student achievement. We are so proud of our tutors, students, and partners for their hard work that led to some amazing results. Check out this data sample from one of our NorCal elementary schools that recently concluded their program for the year!

    • A red and blue themed bar graph shows average i-Ready score increases for grades 2-6, with an average of 88% of students improving their i-Ready score in general, and 78% improving at least a full grade level. Grade 2 shows an average increase of 28 points, Grade 3 shows an average increase of 11 points, Grades 4 and 5 show an average increase of 17 points, and Grade 6 shows an average increase of 18 points.
  • Let’s get excited to learn! While all educators know that intrinsic motivation is key to student success, a little reward once in a while doesn’t hurt to keep things exciting. Our tutors have shown so many exciting ways to keep students motivated. TME provides great rewards like extra credit tickets, stickers, and TME Bucks. However, using reward systems isn’t just about instant gratification either- it helps students set long-term goals, have tangible rewards for their efforts, and work with peers to achieve shared milestones like class-wide rewards. What prize do you most vividly remember getting in school?

    • A collage of photos shows different incentive systems from TME tutors, such as a dry-erase thermometer to fill as a group in order to achieve a class prize, a sign advertising a raffle to win a gift card, tickets to earn extra credit or make up homework, and stickers.
  • How can we make learning fun? Let our tutors count the ways! In Tutor Me Education’s tutoring programs, we encourage tutors to game-ify learning. This not only makes the tutoring more fun and engaging for students, but also removes the pressure and anxiety that can come from a learning environment focused only on outcomes. Allowing students to explore the content in a variety of modalities and contexts encourages them to take ownership of their learning, use critical thinking more often and more deeply, and build social skills by collaborating with peers. Check out some of the great ways our tutors engage with students in these photos!

    • Two students and a tutor sit at a table playing a multiplication flash card game themed after Teen Titans, with a lesson agenda noting: Warm-Up, SEL Check-In, Practice Worksheet, Extension Activity, and Cool-Down.
    • Two hands hold up a pegboard being used to create polygons using rubber bands, with a dry-erase board in the background noting prefixes relating to the number of sides on a polygon such as "tri = 3."
    • A projector shows example activities of using paper to create popcorn buckets to practice mathematical volume, with instructions and examples.
  • We love our community! In education, community is everything. In order for students to have robust support systems, set achievement goals, and have a well-rounded worldview, it is key to incorporate community involvement into the education process. We love getting a chance to stop by our schools and centers to share information on how tutoring can be utilized to meet diverse students’ unique needs. We’ll see you out there!

    • Education Director Amy sits at a table with flyers and candy, with a sign behind her with information about Tutor Me Education's programs.
    • Divisional Director Amanda and Associate Education Director Rena sit at a table with flyers, candies, and photos of tutors in action at a table during a Multicultural Night.
  • Student appreciation post! Where would we be without the hard work of our talented and unique students? The collage of student art and notes – including students’ portraits of Tutor Eszter and Tutor Chris from two of our high schools – in this post just go to show how the students feel about their tutoring services. The support students receive from their teachers, tutors, and mentors is something they’ll carry with them all throughout their lives, and we are so lucky to play a part in that.

  • Have you ever heard the phrase “the best defense is a good offense” before? Well, that’s definitely true when it comes to behavior management! When TME tutors start working with new students, they are trained to always start by setting clear expectations with students. Not only does this help mitigate potential behavioral issues, but it also helps students feel secure and safe because the tutor will react predictably in the event of a rule not being followed. Tutors are also instructed to always give warnings and remind students of expectations if a rule is broken, so students feel supported and encouraged to make the right decisions, like the expectations in these photos from our real tutors’ sessions! What does your “offense” look like when setting up a successful classroom environment?

    • A large yellow poster shows a Tutoring Task List labeled with "Tutor Me Education" instructing students to sign in/out, take out their agenda, wait to be called, and complete various assignments such as homework and document questions.
    • A pink agenda decorated with cats outlines "Tutor Group Expectations" such as being kind, learning from mistakes, being tidy, encouraging peers, and being an active listener.
    • A projector shows a blank "Tutoring Class Rules" outline for students to complete collaboratively, including a three-strike warning system.
