Athletes used to connect with fans through press conferences and postgame interviews. Now they're doing it live — from the streets, the gym, and everywhere in between. Shilo Sanders is one of a growing number of athletes building their own audiences through IRL streaming on Twitch. No scripts. No PR filters. Just real life, broadcast in real time to thousands of fans who show up because the connection feels genuine. But streaming an entire day on the move — across Miami, through a boxing gym, into a ping pong club — at broadcast quality? That takes more than a phone and a ring light. Together with production support from UnlimitedIRL creators are running full multi-camera live production powered by TVU Networks technology. Our hardware rides in a backpack. Their control room runs remotely. The audience never sees the seams. The creator economy isn't coming for sports. It's already here. And the athletes who get it are building something no highlight reel can replicate — a direct, authentic relationship with their fans. TVU Networks was built for this. #TVUNetworks #IRLStreaming #AthleteCreator #LiveProduction #CreatorEconomy #Twitch #Sports #LiveStreaming

This week at the Royal Television Society’s "Modernising Media Workflows," event in London, we had the opportunity to discuss how live media infrastructures are evolving beyond traditional broadcast models. Together with Reuters News Agency and InSync Technology Ltd, we explored how cloud-managed IP workflows, microservices architectures, TVU MediaMesh, open APIs and motion-compensated frame rate conversion are changing the way live content is distributed, scaled, orchestrated, and processed. The discussion moved beyond theory into real operational challenges: → transitioning from satellite to IP-based distribution → scaling live workflows dynamically based on demand → integrating orchestration, observability and operation into cloud workflows → enabling more flexible and cloud-agnostic infrastructures for modern live distribution → building the foundation for automated and self-healing media systems A big thank you to everyone who joined the session and to all speakers and partners involved in the discussion: Jeff Smith (Reuters), James Taylor (InSync), Kevin Longhurst (Media Comms Ltd) and Johannes Heckmann (TVU Networks) #Broadcast #MediaTechnology #LiveProduction #CloudProduction #IPVideo #RemoteProduction #MediaWorkflows #BroadcastEngineering #SaaS #5G #MediaDistribution #TVUNetworks

Do you really need commentators on-site for every production? With TVU Remote Commentator bundled with TVU Producer, the answer is increasingly no. Commentators can work from anywhere, fully integrated into the live production — with no added complexity. It’s a simpler way to: • Scale coverage across more events • Reduce operational costs • Keep everything connected in one workflow Remote production that actually works in practice.

What do you do if your concert is sold out? Good Kid streamed it to Twitch! They built an interactive concert experience where Twitch chat could trigger IRL events for the crowd, including merch giveaways, confetti cannons, and a bubble machine in the venue. For their recent Los Angeles show at The Novo, UnlimitedIRL joined to operate and produce the livestream remotely. Honored to support Reuters News Agency in building the next generation of live news workflows. Partnerships like this highlight how flexible, cloud-native IP infrastructure can help global media organizations scale efficiently while keeping the focus where it belongs — on journalists and storytelling.
Great session at MPTS Show today with Mehrdad Joseph Delshadian, Director of Content Distribution, speaking about how Reuters is moving away from satellite to a fully IP workflow for Lives with TVU. Alongside Johannes Heckmann from TVU Networks, they discussed how we will scale Lives with TVU MediaMesh as the enabling platform alongside TAMS, LPX, DMF and MXL. As Joseph said, “For Reuters it’s about our journalists and our content. Our job is to facilitate them with technology by transforming both contribution and distribution.” Learn more about Reuters' partnership with TVU here: https://hubs.ly/Q04gpbvt0

Together with PEGSA Group, we supported the delivery of Super Rugby Americas 2026, connecting 5 countries into a single, unified workflow. With 52 matches produced in the cloud, this project shows how remote production can: • streamline operations across multiple venues • reduce on-site infrastructure • enable real-time access to content for teams, referees, and digital platforms From acquisition to distribution on ESPN and Disney+, everything runs through a centralized, IP-based workflow. A great example of how technology and production teams can build new models together, not just replicate traditional ones. EVS Broadcast Equipment integrates TVU remote super slow-motion synchronization into its LiveCeption solution — delivering premium replay from any venue, no fiber required. TVU Networks and EVS announced today that they have completed technical validation of TVU's remote super slow-motion ingest and synchronization technology with EVS's LiveCeption replay solution. What this means for broadcasters: ➖ Run frame-accurate, high frame rate replay workflows over 5G, Starlink, public internet, and standard broadband — eliminating dependency on dedicated fiber circuits and on-site infrastructure ➖ TVU's Precision TimeAlign technology applies hardware-level timestamps at ingest and reconstructs synchronized phases with sub-frame accuracy over any IP network ➖ Extend premium slow-motion coverage to more venues and productions while keeping replay operations centralized ➖ Scale top-tier replay experiences across more live sports properties without scaling costs For more: https://lnkd.in/eUug4Y3H
