10 hours. A secret Premier Inn location. Danny Aarons. No script. Last week, Premier Inn became the first UK hospitality brand to run a bespoke campaign on Twitch. 'Night at Premier Inn' was a single live stream hosted by Danny Aarons from an actual Premier Inn room, running from 4pm to 2am. Two interconnected experiences, a live audience along for the ride, and the kind of moments you can only get when nothing is rehearsed. Created in partnership with OMD UK, this campaign brought together live entertainment and brand storytelling in a way that's never been done before in UK hospitality. Missed the record-breaking stream? Check out the VODs below! 🏆 🏆 🏆 Twitch just earned 3 Webby Awards for the Justin Bieber Live Stream, winning across the Creators and Social categories (Best Livestream, Creator Launch or Drop, and Events & Live Streams)! The Webby Awards honor the best of the internet, and this recognition reinforces what we believe: live, authentic content resonates with audiences far beyond any single platform. Moments of genuine connection from basketball games to music production and band sessions built the bridge to his headlining Coachella set last month. 🤝 Grateful for the incredible cross-functional team and partners who made this possible.

You don’t have to quit your 9-to-5 to do what you love. Work culture often glorifies taking big swings, but Twitch CEO Daniel Clancy shared a more practical perspective at the SEMAFOR World Economy Summit. For people who dream of becoming creators, Clancy says, “The vast majority of people who stream have a full-time job.” The reality is that many side hustles and passion projects are built outside traditional work hours, not instead of them. “ Start doing things that you love doing and that you'd like to be doing more of,” says Clancy. “Your best ideas don't always come 9-to-5.” What’s your best advice for building a side hustle while working full-time? Share in the comments.

A proud moment for the Twitch team. We're honored to see Twitch recognized by Fast Company as one of 2026’s Most Innovative Companies. It’s a reflection of the incredible creators and communities on the service—and the teams building the products that help them connect, create, and share live moments with the world. https://lnkd.in/eeZ6VWQE

Twitch has been named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026. What’s exciting about this moment is what it says about where livestreaming is today. Live has become one of the most powerful ways for creators to connect with their communities in real time. Every day on Twitch, musicians like Plaqueboy Max write songs live with their communities, athletes like the Studbudz take fans behind the scenes, and creators across gaming, entertainment, sports, and culture show up to connect directly with audiences. At the same time, audiences are leaning into live for a reason: it’s real. In a world of increasingly curated feeds, livestreaming offers something more participatory and human. And increasingly, those moments don’t just stay live—clips and highlights extend them far beyond the broadcast. Our focus on the product side is building the tools that make those moments possible—and help them travel further. Over the past year, that’s included launches like Dual Format Streaming, which lets creators broadcast seamlessly across horizontal and vertical formats, and Auto Clips, which uses AI to capture highlights from live streams and make them instantly shareable. Excited to keep building for our creators. #FCMostInnovative https://lnkd.in/gygmidvd
