🤝 Vallourec and XGS Energy partner to accelerate multi-gigawatt next-generation geothermal project pipeline.   The two companies announce a strategic supply chain partnership as XGS executes on a three-gigawatt pipeline of commercial geothermal projects across the western United States.   Securing the supply of tubulars, a major component of XGS’s water-independent systems, is a key milestone as XGS begins construction this year on their 150 MW project with Meta in New Mexico, delivering 150 MW to the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s (PNM) grid to support Meta’s data center operations.   Through this partnership, Vallourec will provide its engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and proven track record in high-temperature tubular solutions to support the deployment of XGS’s solid-state, closed-loop geothermal system.   For Vallourec, the partnership represents a strategic step in the expansion of its New Energies portfolio and reinforces the company’s ambition to become a leading supplier of tubular solutions and services for advanced geothermal applications.   Vallourec’s world-class tubular solutions such as THERMOCASE® Vacuum Insulated Tubing (VIT) plays a critical role in enabling high efficiency geothermal wells by minimizing thermal losses, increasing heat exchange performance, and improving long-term system reliability, all critical components for the commercial scale deployment of next-generation geothermal systems.

📣 Vallourec wins a significant contract with Shell in Brazil   The Group announces that it has secured a significant contract with Shell, following a competitive bidding process.   The agreement covers the supply of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) products and services for Shell’s offshore operations in the development of the Orca project, formerly known as Gato do Mato. The expected drilling date is April 2027, and the current drilling plan includes 10 wells, with an estimation of 12,000 to 15,000 tons of pipes.   This contract encompasses the full OCTG scope, including seamless pipes and VAM® premium connections for Shell’s offshore wells ranging from 4.5” to 18”, with both carbon and stainless-steel tubulars and associated accessories.    Vallourec will also provide comprehensive value-added services onshore and offshore – covering desk engineering, material coordination, rig preparation, offshore supervision, and rig return repairs – to support Shell in optimizing operational efficiency.

📢 Vallourec announces €200 million share buyback program and targets total shareholder return to be at least €500 million by August 2026.   We are announcing the launch of a share buyback program that will take place until June 30, 2026, for a total amount of €200 million. The repurchased shares will be allocated to cover part of the warrants (BSA) issued by Vallourec, reducing dilution from their expected exercise before the end of June 2026.   In addition, we intend to return the expected proceeds from the BSA exercise (approximately €300 million), along with 80-100% of our 2025 cash generation not yet returned through share buybacks, via an extraordinary interim dividend in Q3 2026.   This brings total shareholder return to at least €500 million by August 2026, with Vallourec remaining within its capital allocation policy. 🎓Our OCTG Technical School inaugural year has just wrapped up. Throughout 2025, nine junior technical sales professionals followed a rigorous curriculum blending classroom and online learning with hands-on mill visits across Vallourec sites and live rig demos. From internal processes and claim management to drilling & completion fundamentals, pipe manufacturing, and new energies, the program sharpened technical expertise and customer readiness. 👏Congratulations to all graduates and thank you to everyone who made this first edition a success!
