Veterans helping veterans - and their communities. 🇺🇸 VFW National Commander Carol Whitmore joined our friends from Humana, USAA, CenterWell and Volunteers of America for the fifth annual #VFWDayOfService, assembling more than 2,500 hygiene kits to support Volunteers of America’s local outreach efforts in Tennessee. These kits help individuals experiencing homelessness access person-centered case management, resource navigation and critical support services. VFW Sr. Vice Commander Cory Geisler and VFW Gold Legacy Life member and VFW Foundation Board Member Sean Kingsbury recently visited The Tactical Games headquarters in Georgetown, Texas, for an immersive site visit and a firsthand look at an innovative organization operating at the intersection of tactical fitness, firearms training and competitive athletics - bringing together a driven community dedicated to pushing their physical limits. Over the course of the visit, the pair participated in two workout sessions, spent a day training and applying pistol techniques on the range and followed it with a day focused on rifle firing. What they experienced was a culture built on discipline, excellence and a deep commitment to the men and women who have served our nation. #VFW #TheTacticalGames #NoOffSeason
